W New York - Times Square

I was very disappointed given that it’s the W Hotel. My room was not clean, the tub has some missing chopped tile on the wall that I scratched my leg and the iron was broken. The tip of the iron perforated through a shirt of mine and I had to request a new one. I had left empty glass cups from the bar in the lobby and they never picked them up. I was too busy trying to enjoy my stay with my family that I was not going to complain. But it was very disappointing and not a great experience.

Property is very nice, service was great. Take advantage of the daily perks offered because they are limited. I would not recommend if you have small children because it’s very hectic to get to the hotel with Times Square being so crowded in the middle.

Property looks beautiful but cleanliness is a mess I stayed for five nights an they clean my room just the first night the following days I have to go and ask them every day to come and clean the room and they never did and last night my family and I even couldn’t shower cause they never bring us towels and I ask them in four different occasions that day at 11am at 3pm at 9pm and at 12am and never received them .

We had a remarkable ,memorable moments with my family there...The view inside the hotel is Beautiful...me and my family loved it..The staff is exceptional and everyone is helpful if you look your lost in the building .. I just love how you get help right away... overall it was wonderful staying here...it was close to everything

Great location, decent rooms. The mandatory $25/day service fee included several "perks", none of which applied to me or my family, so it was nothing but an additional cost with no benefit.

Weekend family trip. Location is good, the hotel is outdated. Carpeting in room was stained and dirty, wallpaper was peeling and bumpy, windows were dirty. The room did not smell clean at all. The elevators were dirty and handprints everywhere, need to use sanitizer.

I've stayed at this hotel many many times before without issue. This time when we checked into our room it reeked of marijuana smoke to the point where it was almost unbearable. Our children were traveling with us and thankfully they had a separate room. We could not change rooms because it would put us too far from our children's room so we dealt with it, biggest mistake. Other than that, the hotel was nice, staff were great.

Fantastic service and location! From the doorman, to the front desk, to cleaning service, everyone greeted us with a smile and was super helpful. The front desk was always accommodating to our questions or needs. Location was amazing for our family of five, including three kids ages 6-11. We walked everywhere. When we couldn't walk, any number of car services were readily available with good rates. The front desk staff also helped us navigate to the best subway line for a day trip to downtown.

Stayed with family for 5 nights. Pluses—very convenient location for sightseeing, access to transportation including subway, lots of dining options. Hotel itself could use more dining options. The elevators are super quick. It feels safe for sure. Staff fairly courteous. Negs—it’s starting to show its age. The lounge area is showing some cracked leather on the seats. Spilled wine stains on upholstery on some spots. Same thing in the rooms—not the most comfortable beds. Carpets were clean though. Overall, still a plus. Can’t beat location if sightseeing is your goal. We stayed with kids on their first trip to nyc. Stepping into the hustle and bustle of Times Square at your doorstep is going to leave a lasting memory in kids’ minds.
