This place is AWESOME...perfectly located near Time Square (1/2 long block) yet it is super quiet and clean. I felt very safe there with my family. Also, the rooms are LARGE, the bathrooms luxury, and the beds are super comfy! A McDonald's and Chick-fil-A 1/2 block away for easy breakfast. Check out the lobby bathrooms-they are super cool! We will be back!

Weekend in NYC with family - The Muse was perfectly located. Every member of the staff we encountered was incredibly friendly & helpful. Room was spacious and exactly what we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

This was the most memorable stay. I wanted to have the most out of the box experience for my family member for his birthday. He was diagnosed with cancer and I wanted this visit to be the most memorable.
I had purchased front row seats for Chicago 4 months ago because of Jinx Monsoon. He is a devout fan of RuPauls Drag Race. I needed to find a hotel that was within walking distance to the Ambassador Theatre. There were many choices but I came across a posting of several other persons who previously stayed and how the hotel assisted them in their birthday celebration.
The concierge contacted me to Barbara (Barb). I told her about my loved ones health including diabetes. She assisted me in creating a package for an extra fee that was reasonable. We corresponded for about a month via email. The Muse and she periodically checked with me to see if we’d make. Just say my loved one ended up hospitalized the week before. However, we still made it., one thing that truly stood out even further, Barb upgraded us to the VIP stay at no extra charge.
Chicago was a small let down because I did not know Jinx left the cast of Chicago, but Barb made up for it. Overall outcome? My family member was in tears after entering the room. Yes,, the restaurant it’s still under construction and there are no vending machines in the hotel. Everything is within walking distance and the hospitality of hotel staff makes the difference.

We loved our stay at The Muse!! The location is so convenient and incredibly close to Time Square, but a little bit tucked away on a side street, so it makes it extra special. Deli market for snacks right next door, a fun Cuban restaurant across the street, tons of late night pizza options, and all the excitement and madness of Time Square within minutes. Our room was very cozy and clean, also probably one of the best hotel showers everrrr, water pressure was on point! We traveled with our 2 kids (10 and 12) and we all felt comfortable in the room. They loved the New York experience. Also shout out to the great staff at The Muse, thank you for making our trip a wonderful one!

I'd prefer to talk to someone in higher management then to the staff/mgrs at the Muse. They were unhelpful and just pass the buck with excuses regarding my issues.Had 3 Mgrs who told me they would get back to me over the 5 days we were there and not one phonecall, conversation or email. The staff couldnt explain why I was overcharged $200+ when checking out,i showed them my email from my original booking with Hotels.com so I would like a refund for that and then your company emailed 2 weeks prior to our arrival regarding a free tote bag,I even called your hotel to confirm this and they promised me my wife would get one when we arrived and he included it in my notes for the reservation and for 5 days no one had a clue just excuses about the tote,I even showed 5 staff people the email you sent me and still no answers.Very unprofessional and totally the worst part of my family's trip being overcharged and never even seemed to care bout my concerns,i guess it's just,"take their money and keep it moving" I'm not expecting to hear anything positive back from this cause I can see how you do business.Think about this since money is all you seem to care about,if your staff upsets only one customer a day to the point where they won't be coming back...thats 360 people a year times $300 a night equals=$108,000 in lost revenue.

Went on a family trip to NY with my kids. We wanted to be close to the shows on Broadway and Times Square.
Location is perfect. We were very pleased with everything at the hotel. Room was nice and clean, beds were comfy and nice staff at reception.
Even though hotel is downtown Manhattan we didnt hear much noise from our room. At least not any more than can be expected from being so close to Times Square!
We highly recommend.

My family and I recently stayed in the Muse hotel for two nights and I would have to say I would not return to this hotel again. The room itself had peeling wallpaper in several places, stained carpet and a towel rack that was falling off of the wall. One of the elevators was out of service, so several times it took awhile to get up and down from our room. In the one working elevator, the railing was loose and one side fell off when I leaned against it. I had called prior to our stay to inquire about parking and was told it was $69 per day. It was actually over $80 per day. We were charged a resort fee and there was no bar or restaurant, no place to get snacks or convenience items, etc, so not sure what that fee was covering. I was very disappointed as we considered booking at the Muse to be a splurge for our stay and thought we have stayed in nicer rooms that were half the cost.

We stayed in the King Suite, which is a great choice if you have kids or teens. It has a separate living room with a pullout bed. The rooms were very spacious, especially by NY standards! The front desk staff was always nice, everything was very clean, and the room was quiet. I do agree with those here who complain about an amenity fee—there are none. I also think the property should have a security guard at night, given the Times Square neighborhood (it’s a half block away). Inexplicably, they have one during the day but no one at night.

Overall, this was a really nice hotel. We arrived in Times Square before the normal hotel check in time and they had a room ready! The beds and pillows are as comfortable as the other reviewers say. Good night sleep…would have been better though if we got the room we reserved. Our reservation was for a premier double queen and we had two doubles. I wish we hadn’t had to pay the rate for the bigger beds if that room wasn’t available. We are a family of four, so the room size, other than the beds, was surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The double shower head and water pressure was amazing!! Thanks for a great experience!
