We can’t wait to stay here again! The staff was outstanding and the location for Broadway fans is perfect! The junior suite worked great for our family of 5.

We were at the knickerbocker for an entire week. For a “ 5 star hotel” it was most disappointing . It started on the day before check in. I called to let them know we were flying in overnight and arriving early. The person that answered the phone gave me a generic answer “ they cannot guarantee an early check in, only if the room is available …..” normal stuff. Ok I was also trying to arrange a pick up transport. We we arrived at jfk , no pick up, ok, I must have emailed the details too late . My fault We arriving at the hotel, no one to help with the bags. Checking in we were told by Tony that the room is ready , but we have to pay for early check in. Smh We booked for 2 nights , as weren’t sure if our plans . As I booked the rest of the week the exact same room (plus 2 additional room for my family) I called and asked to just stay in the room we’re presently in so we won’t have to pack up and move (the reason behind me booking this exact room) , I was informed we have to move , because they are expecting a large group and they can’t accommodate us on this floor☹️ So guess what, we have to change rooms. I asked for the additional rooms to be on the same floor . Possibly close to each othe, I was told that they are upgrading one of the rooms to accommodate my request. I can’t see a difference in the room yet, but I said thank you. Mind you trying to speak to regular front desk employees is better , because all you get from supervisors is hostile attitudes an not

Diana at the concierge is what would make me return alone. She was so hospitable and helpful! Even walked us through to the subway! Saved us an hour and $100 a car. Security folks and other staff were wonderful. The reception crew were so professional and kind. I travel and a lot, business and personal, with groups and my big family, and no hotel has handled us all so gracefully. In the theater district, you are conveniently placed close to EVERYWHERE! Delicious restaurants and amazing pubs all nearby. We will definitely be back again.

Room was advertised to sleep 4 but slept 2. First manager (Ashol) had an attitude about it and wanted to prove me wrong instead of resolving this situation for my son to have a place to sleep. We were in limbo until they found us another room. The new room was not cleaned properly. We had to move to a third room which caused us to never feel settled. Manager had Nick from the restaurant call me and he also said there would be lunch and make sure they did something special for my son. First they did not have a kid friendly menu. Two the menu was very limited not the Charlie Palmer menu I am use to in DC. Bartender was our server and had a hard time communicating. Half the time I had to go to the bar to ask for things. They did not acknowledge my sons birthday at all. Kids burgers were dry and inedible. My steak was dry and tough. Also inedible. When I asked for the manager it took him over 10 min to come. He did not have a solution for me but to comp the inedible meal that was already being comped for the room issues. Food ended up giving both me and my son food poisoning. People next to us also had to have food remade.

Parking was double what it was even after staying at the plaza! Thought $160 a night was incredibly steep, even after saying we had a special needs child who couldn’t walk far from self park

We were traveling with family. Beautiful boutique hotel. Love the location, near the heart of times square and right in the theater district. Huge clean room, comfortable beds, beautiful city view from the room. Room was super quite given hotel is in Times Square. We parked at city parking which is 5 mins walk. Approx $50-60 a night. The staff was friendly and was always there when we needed anything.
