Toilet in room are so low to the ground seemed to be for a child not adults. No vanities in bathroom room in room. Dining was limited and no guests amenities to merit the price of room ie complimentary breakfast buffet etc.,microwave refrigerator or a table to eat in your rooms no bell hop to help with bags coming or going. No on-site coffeehouse or coffee cart. No event coordinator or concierge staff not very accomidating sent us walking for blocks knowing that nothing was open claiming to have a spa without offering spa services like massage. Maps of local sites and events would have been helpful. Discounts to winery etc. Hotel sponsored events showing local vendors etc. When going back I wouldn't stay here again when other hotels are less and have the amenities necessary for a pleasurable experience.

Queensbury Hotel looks a little bit like a CVS from the outside with the red logo and some of the modern entryways, but don’t be mistaken. It’s a classic grand hotel that is kept well, though far from presumptuous. We chose this hotel based on three criteria: proximity to Lake George, ratings, and kid and dog-friendly status. The Queensbury delivered. Overall great. Nice hotel, big but boutique feeling, and friendly to our black lab. The hotel’s Fenimore pub was a letdown for dinner on arrival day (expensive, slow service, wrong dishes served, meh quality), so we outright avoided the more formal 26 sibling restaurant. We discovered the nice town of Glen Falls, which has a progressive and small-town feel, with many restaurants, consignment shops and mom-and-pop businesses. Avoid the Rite Aid next door, as the shelves are empty and it attracts homeless drug addicts outside—seems doomed for condemnation—even in a town with very low crime. Peter’s Diner and Kerry’s Diner are gems. Siam Thai Sushi is a nice neighborhood asian fusion restaurant right next door, not a destination but satisfies cravings. Glen Falls is about a 12 minute drive to Lake George and 20 minutes to Saratoga. Surrounded by nice parks and Hudson River and Erie Canal history. We found Lake George restaurants to be low-quality tourist traps so we prioritized eating in Glen Falls and exploring the real neighborhood and friendly people. I love how cars in Glen Galls drive slow and stop liberally for pedestrians.

Excellent service and facilities. All staff was kind and friendly. Room service was effective and efficient. Pool area, jacuzzi and workout room was very well kept and equipped.
Highly recommended even for families! We had a suite and it was absolutely excellent.

We were there for a family 90th birthday party. We also stayed at the hotel. Everything first class. The room was comfortable; breakfast delicious and birthday party for about 60 people at noon served brunch or lunch buffet style. I hope we get to go back.

I had a wonderful time at the hotel. It was very clean, friendly staff starting from the front desk to the the restaurant staff. We enjoyed the breakfast in the hotel, the server Abbey was so wonderful and helpful. I had lost my voice and she was so kind in getting me hot water and lemon and heard me even though I didn't have a voice. The two ladies at the desk made us feel like we were family👏

Hotel was very nice. However the toilets were an issue. They were so low that elementary school children could use them.

The property is beautiful snd clean. Beds are comfortable. There is piano in the lobby before dinner on weekends and live music at the tavern. (We weren’t there on a weekend however). There are 4 reasons i didnt give this a 5 star:
1) we reserved a room that said “sleeps 5” people (i have 3 kids). When we got there, there were only 2 queen beds in the room. No sofa bed or anything. When we enquired snbout lt, they brought us up a cot for 10$. It was frustrating since the room did not sleep 5 as sold in the website.
2) there was no fridge in the room. We filled up the sink with ice to try to keep our drinks cold
3). The restaurants advertised online wereboth coled the 2 time we tried to go eat (at 10 am and st 9 pm). Both times, we had to figure something else out.
4). There is an extra charge 60$ on our visa after we left, we have to call to get it rectified. We didnt add anything to the room since everything was closed when we went.
