Every time we visit family in NM we spend a few days to ourselves in Santa Fe. We initially picked this hotel because it is pet friendly. It turned out to be such a nice place. Our room was reasonably priced, spacious, and most of all very clean. It’s just a short walk to the plaza and surrounding businesses. Definitely staying here again.

The hotel is very close to the Plaza, museums, galleries, shopping, restaurants and other attractions. Their parking is underground and convenient to register and coming/go. We had a junior suite with king bed and it was nice to have the extra room. The furnishings and room were beginning to look worn as would be expected in an older hotel.

Hotel was in a good location.. AC didn’t work, bathtub drain was broken. Beds are way too small. First night we were there, we asked if there was a restaurant they would suggest - something suitable for kids. It was recommended we try their in-house restaurant upstairs. No kids menu and it easily would have been 300 for all six of us. Oh and parking in the garage is difficult because there isn’t enough spaces. Overall, the hotel is fine. Our experience just wasn’t great.

We felt Hotel Chimayo was a good value. The room was spacious and appealing. Our stay was noisy because of a loud family above us, and our main recommendation would be that there were no comfortable chairs or places to sit in the room. The staff was superb and the location, just 1/2 block from the Santa Fe Plaza, couldn't have been better.

The staff was amazing first off! Paloma was super amazing and attentive to every request and need, they responded with such urgency. Our Bell boy AJ was awesome and very helpful. Orlando made our trip even more memorable and amazing!! He took us on a tour of the plaza in the low rider what an awesome and memorable experience for my husband and our family. We usually stay at a more modern hotel in Santa Fe but we had the best time at Hotel Chimayo I think it’s our new spot! Thank you for your hospitality oh and the room was comfortable and very clean we enjoyed the fireplace (:
