Best Western Territorial Inn & Suites

We stayed for 2 nights as a family with 2 children. The room and property were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were great. Well suited for both adults and both our children. There were fried eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, a variety of fruits and pastries, waffles, ect. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot with decent pressure. Lots of food places nearby, even within walking distance. Over all, we were extremely happy with our stay. Only 1 complaint. We left our room at about 9am, well before check out time, to start loading our vehicle. Staff must have seen us leave our room with bags, and assumed we were done. Because I went back to our room to do a final check for items, and house keeping was already in the room. There was not a person in the room when I entered, but their note pad and several items were in there. I understand they wanted to get a jump start on cleaning and readying the room for the next check in, but we were still on property, and not officially out of the room, even if we were not in it currently. Other than that, great stay. Would definitely stay again.

We always enjoy staying here when visiting family in the area. The only down side this visit is the pool/hot tub are closed. It would have been nice to know before we booked our trip.

Upon check-in was told by the snarky female clerk that they do not rent to people with local identification and she would not tell me why, i had reserved room months in advance for a wedding and my home was being used for out of town guests. Had to put the room in another name with out of area ID, they did take my card though. I would have just went to another hotel but nothing else was available woth short notice. The entrance to hotel had torn up concrete rigjt at the door jam, definite trip hazard and for someone in a wheel chair would be dangerous. The luggage cart got stuck in the hole. Upon enterimy room there was a wierd odor so opened the window and the frame was broken and window would not close completely. There were stains on carpet next to bed that looked like blood to me. The shower curtain rod was readt to fall off and only had one screw on either side. The bed was very uncomfortable, lumpy and sagging, old old mattress! Vanity ligjt fixture had been replaced and the patched area from the old one wasn't even painted. One morning while leaving hotel there was a child set up with a table in the lobby selling home made jewelry and other things, just seemed odd. Upon returning later that afternoon there was an old van with a uhaul trailer taking up several front parking spaces with 8 or 9 really wierd guys standing around the trailer with all of their crap from the uhaul scattered in the parking area and later these same wierd guys were taking up most of the lounge.

Arrive with family and 9 year old is excited for the pool! Nope, out of order (no notice on website or anywhere else) he's very upset! Decide to head back to room to have a soda and watch movie. Every single vending machine in hotel is empty, no refreshments on the premises. Are you kidding? Had to leave hotel to get one. So we do! Finally sit down to watch movie and, I kid you not, a bagpipe band starts wailing away just outside my window and continues for an hour with no interference. Wake up next morning and breakfast is a joke. Waffle maker? You guessed it, out of order! Go to leave and $500 of stuff was ganked from my truck. Just my experience! I will not go back to this hotel or town again. Not sure how they got good ratings!
