Sitzmark Chalet Inn

Family owned and operated is always far better then staying in a franchise. The family spirit here was largely felt, even by the cleaners!

Really nice clean & neat place. Unfortunately, the walls are quite thin and I had a young mother and her 2 very young children in the room next to me. Fortunately when the youngest would have his afternoon tantrum meltdown I was on my way out and when I returned things were usually pretty well settled down. I had very restful sleep with the 10 pm quiet rule.

Great location. We felt this was an excellent and cozy small hotel/motel at a good price and great customer service. We recommended it to family after staying here.

Stay was nice, warm and cozy. My family loved it. Delicious homemade cookies, muffins and great hot coco. Recommend this stay. Friendly staff, thank you. We will be back.

We really loved our stay this weekend! Our room was clean and comfortable. The Bee Kind toiletries in our room were better than any hotel brand junk you get at other places, we even bought some lotion to take home. The beds were super comfy and fit our little family of 4 perfectly. The property has an awesome little mountain inn vibe and is kept immaculately clean! Lisa was amazing and so helpful with anything we asked about in Ruidoso. You can tell she truly cares about the guests coming to stay at Sitzmark and she adds so many little touches to make your stay that much more awesome! Fresh baked muffins and hot coffee (or cocoa) in the morning, iced lemon water on tap, and a really neat sauna were just a few perks worth mentioning. We are already planning another trip to Ruidoso and will without a doubt be staying at Sitzmark again!

Staying at the Sitzmark was perfect for our family of four. The staff was friendly along with the other guests too. The room and hotel was clean. We stayed in the room 21 which is the suite and our toddler had the best time with the extra space. We will definitely be going back. The location was perfect. Not in the middle of everything that we had a hard time exiting the parking lot. Less than ten minutes or less to get to the main shoppes or elsewhere. We really enjoyed everything about our trip!! The Sitzmark will definitely be our go to location for our family of 4.
