Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raton

There is nothing good to share about our stay, I waited for over ten minutes for someone to check me in, I had to go knock on a staff only door to let her know I was even there. There was no elevator my 70 year old wife and I had to hand carry our luggage up two flights of stairs. When I first entered my room I had to use one of the rest room towels to clean the floors in the bathroom and the bedroom!! There was very little sleep, we heard slamming doors repeatedly, kids screaming and conversations from other customers all the way up to 12:00 mid-night, no one came upstairs to see what was going on!! The complimentary breakfast was a joke, I spent way too much much money for this type of poor cleanliness and poor customer service, someone should repay me for whole amount of my stay of one night!! I will never return to this hotel or any other Microtel locations!! I will also let everyone I know to not even think about staying at Microtel!!

This hotel was very clean. The rooms were a good size for a small family of 4. I was surprised how quiet the room was. The staff was very kind and answered questions or resolved issues quickly. Would definitely stay again.

Front desk was nice and honest about the facility but did not mention the non stop heater in our room. Room 105 heater runs non stop and will not turn off, the room was easily 90 degrees and I had to open a window to make it even semi comfortable. I still didn’t sleep and am writing this message two hours after trying to fall asleep. Nobody is using blankets, kids are hot and it is just a disaster.
