Best Western Plus Raton Hotel

Spectacular service, from the front desk to the restaurant/bar. We brought our fur baby and they even had special treats prepared for her. The accommodations were perfect and so comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great hotel! Very, very friendly staff and the restaurant/breakfast was wonderful. Perfect place if you have children- a large indoor area they can run around before sitting in the car again and a nice pool. We’re seniors with no kiddos and our room was quiet. If ever passing through again, will be staying here for sure.

A diamond in the rough, a resort disguised as a typical exterior entry motel. I loved the ability to park outside our room and also have an additional interior door that accesses the courtyard and pool area. We stayed in the King suite which had plenty of room and a huge bathroom with a separate shower from the huge bath tub! A heated pool in the large courtyard which has plenty of room for large family travelers. There’s also a restaurant bar that serves great food and with a full bar and local beers on tap. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a bit odd in layout, as I've never stayed in a room with 3 exit doors: one to the hotel, one to the outside world, and another to connect with the neighboring room. The bed was comfortable; however, the sofa bed felt like something one might find in prison with a super thin mattress and sharp springs poking through. Our sofa sleeping guest chose to put the mattress back and just sleep on the sofa. The bathroom was huge with both a tub and a separate shower. The pool was right outside our room, which was nice except for the kids that were really excited to start swimming and yelling bright and early the next morning. Check in and out were both easy and the parking lot was big enough to accommodate out truck and trailer.

Love this place. We happened on it last year on our way to Colorado. We booked it again because of that. We brought dogs this time and thought we probably couldn’t stay because of them, but they have a total section just for dog families. Haven’t used it but the indoor swim area is lovely!

We stopped in Raton on our way to Colorado for vacation. Our kids were not excited about a hotel with outside doors. However, once they saw the inside of the room and that there was another door that led out to an indoor pool, they were all good. The breakfast was like most other hotels, nothing special. There was not a waffle maker but you could ask for pancakes from the kitchen. All in all, the over night stay was nice. We would stay here again. Also, the two ladies at the front desk were super helpful!
