Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Raton, an IHG Hotel

Our room felt warm even after adjusting the thermostat. Also wish I would’ve checked prior to booking for area events. Apparently there was some little league baseball in the area and had kids running up and down the halls. Not sure if there were quite hours and not being enforced. Heard other guests telling the kids to stop running in the halls.

Did not feel welcome considering our family is multiracial.

Loved the stay! Room was large enough for our family of 5. Breakfast was awesome with lots of options. Friendly staff

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating for my family and I. The room was comfortable and clean. The only issue there was, was with the shower. There was not much hot water. It was just luke warm at best and the tub was slow to drain, often leaving water up to my ankles when taking a shower.

Shabby conditions at this hotel. Toilet seat was worn through, stained floors with a loose tile. In another another room where my family stayed, the toilet seat was not bolted on, the ceiling was stained, the hotel room door to the hallway would not close properly so there was a gap (approximately one inch) between the top of the door and the metal door frame. In my room there was also a stained tub. Towels seemed dingy. Stained tub. Room had a weird, musty smell. In the morning, I observed many people standing at the front desk needing to talk with the desk staff…they were always gone doing other things elsewhere. Perhaps more staff could help at this hotel.

Disappointed that the pool and spa were out of service. Vehicle broke down in town with my wife and four kids in the vehicle and would have used to the pool to occupy my kids a bit. Kids were a little to hyped up to be cooped up in the room for two days.

Nice and cozy! Very clean and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast is great. Pool was fun for my kiddos.

Holiday Inn says you told them I only needed a King Bed. I clearly selected a King Bed w sofa sleeper. Now, my wife and kids and I are all in the King Bed with no sofa sleeper because you messed up!

Floors were dirty with lots of crumbs around the beds. Duvet had lipstick on it so I question if it had been laundered. We reserved a room for our family of 5 but there were no sheets in the room for the pull-out couch. Had to get linens from the front a desk and make our own bed late at night with grumpy kids. Also, no staff at desk in the morning. Breakfast wasn’t bad though.

Appears relatively recent to the family of properties. Really nice. Pleasant stay.
