Hampton Inn Pennsville

Room was horrible, bathroom door wouldn’t stay open and there was no fan in there so it was unbearable to be in there after showering to get ready. Staff was horrible. I asked Daniel if we could stay and use the pool after checking out and was told it was for guests only!! We spent almost $550 for 2 nights and we weren’t considered to be a guest?!?!? There was no way to open the blind so the room was very dark. I would love for Paris Hilton to stay here and see how awful it is and if she would want her family to stay there.

I have two complaints: 1. When I arrived, I discovered that there were only three sheets of toilet paper in the bathroom. There were no reserve toilet paper rolls in the room. It was only a minor inconvenience to go downstairs and ask the check-in clerk to get me another roll of toilet paper. It might have been a minor emergency if I had with me in the room a young child or other person who could not wait after a long trip. 2. The bathroom was cold. and there was no heating unit in the bathroom. I did not want to take a hot shower in a cold bathroom. I solved the problem by turning up the heat to 75 degrees in the bedroom and keeping the bathroom door open for about 45 minutes until the bathroom was warm enough. Since the bathroom shuts automatically whenever it is opened, I had to prop the door open with a chair or something. Every bathroom should have a heating unit. Otherwise, the room was spacious and clean and quite comfortable. The cooked breakfast was good - fruit, oatmeal, omelettes, sausage slices, breads and a toaster, biscuits, etc.

I am contacting you in regards to my current stay at the Hampton inn in Pennsville NJ. I’m currently in the military using this hotel to hold me and my family until we can move into our home and we have stayed in the Hampton inn before but this has to be the worst experience from top to bottom. When I went to check in at the front desk the employee was extremely unprofessional only looking up from playing the game on his phone to ask me “what do I want”. I remained calm and told him me and my family are supposed to be checking in today. It seemed almost like a burden to him to do his job. Once I received my keys I went up to the room and I was shocked to see how horrible this room really is. I am utterly surprised that your company would allow Rooms to be this bad. The floors look as if they haven’t been vacuumed at all. The bathroom that was advertised for our room that we booked did not have a handicapped shower. Next the bathroom floor and ceiling were molding. I would highly like to have a response from you because I feel as though my money went to waste staying here.
