The price for this hotel is too high for a very average facility. We booked a 2 queen bed room and none were available at check in time. We were given a king with pull out couch. The bed in pull out couch was very uncomfortable even for a child. Bath room door was broken and the air conditioner was very loud. Good food and drink nearby.

EVERY staff member encountered (front desk, bartender, food service, cleaning staff) was genuinely kind and friendly. We were celebrating our moms 90th birthday with family from across the country. Throughout the weekend everyone wished her a happy birthday, and really made her feel special! The location along the river walk was perfect as we had 2 dogs who love to go for walks(as did the birthday girl). The area was quiet that weekend but I’m sure it gets more energetic once the baseball stadium opens for the season. Good food options nearby as well as family activities. None of us had been to Wilmington before, but plan to return as it was a good central location and we had such a good time. Only cons were- handicapped room didn’t have shades on window- like all other rooms -(only curtains); and our bathroom barn door only had handle from outside( tricky to get out once door was closed).

Hyatt Place Wilmington was nice. Hotel is beautiful, free breakfast, location and cleanliness were fantastic. The room size allowed us to spread out as a family. The only bother was the not-so-silent AC when it turned on and off.

I got up early with my dog and walk the riverfront, it was beautiful, quite and clean. The breakfast was good and they had options for my picky kid. The room was very clean, larger and the best were very comfortable.

Our stay was wonderful! The hotel was immaculately cleaned! The location was perfect for a quiet retreat. We'll definitely be back for another kid free getaway!

I came here to get away from the kids with my significant other. Nothing but nice time!! Very clean, staff is great!!!
