Liked the stay with family

I booked two days for this holiday, and when we arrived, the front desk staff was unprofessional. The hallways smelled like cigarettes, and the room was very dark. Also, the water in the shower was not hot; it was lukewarm with no pressure to actually feel like a shower. Let's not forget, there was no housekeeping service; you have to go to the front desk for everything. I am not satisfied for the price I paid. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone with kids

Amazing!!! I book here regularly and the staff almost feel ljke family. They are incredibly sweet. Always super clean as well.

The best customer support we ever got anywhere from the front-desk employees. We plan to stay here in our future visits to this area. We will recommend this Hotel to our family and friends

The worst hotel experience I have ever had. I have been staying in hotels almost every day during my 27career, and this was the worst experience to date. I spoke to the desk clerk of this Holiday Inn L or Express hotel in order to make reservations and hoping to make the check in process easy. It was after midnight, so I needed to figure out which date to use on hotels.com We were staying the night of 7/29 but it was 7/30 since it was after midnight. Her answer was that 7/30 would be fine as long as I understood that we’d still have to be out by 11:00am, so I went ahead and booked my room on hotel.com Check in was a mess. After paying for incidental deposit and signing the papers the clerk said “oh no, it looks like you reserved a room for today the 30th” I agreed and said today is the 30th. She said “check in is at 3pm We went round and round as I said she has us in a room and the room is available I had paid for the room so please change the dates so my family and I can get some sleep. Long story short, check in took hours and we only got a couple hours sleep. Once in a room, there were no trash bags, no laundry bag, the electricity didn’t work so our phones didn’t charge. (I found a gfi needed reset the next morning by the thermostat.) the plug on facet for shower is worn out so it would only allow half shower half bath. There was no bars of soap only body wash. We didn’t get a key from the front desk during check in so that was a mess too. Worst experience ever

I'm not great with names but I believe the lady at the front desk was named Doris. She is AWESOME. She is so warm and outgoing, I felt like I was practically visiting family.

I needed a room for the night to visit my aunt who is on hospice. I booked with Holiday Inn Express because it was close to the facility and fair priced. I got to check in a few minutes early (didnt realize the time as I drove from S.C. to N.J.) I was told the deposit was $50. I gave my card to the employee and he said he was charging the $50 deposit to it. The next morning when I was looking at my account I saw TWO charges for the cost of the room ($127.92) but no charge for the $50 deposit. When i brought this to the attention of the employee who had checked me in the night before he said he had to talk to the manager. When it was time to check out I talked to the manager and got the generic "you have to call the bank its not us" but that doesn't explain the two room amount charges. So now i am waiting on my bank to see the final charge. As far as my stay, the carpet in the the room was dirty. My baby's socks were black after running around. The bedding was noisy, and almost plastic-like, whenever anyone turned or moved in the bed you heard the bedding move. The water pressure was not very stong and the hot water was warm, not hot at all. The breakfast was ok, the sausage links were hard to eat, especially for the kids. They advertised bacon and a pancake bar but there was no bacon and the pancake machine was out of order. The toaster would only toast one side of the bread and most of the time burned other side. I was very disappointed. Expected better from this hotel.....

We were visiting family. Room was clean, employees were helpful. Lots of restaurants in the area.
