Best Western Plus Keene Hotel

My visit was very strange. The printed out paper signs everywhere felt very harassing and some were misleading- the ones in the pool area saying that towels were at the front desk (which then you had to sign up for to be put against your room) were very inconvenient and misleading. The constant paper signs about not smoking and about not being loud felt like we were being constantly scolded. Also they just felt unprofessional. I also had an issue with the continental breakfast, they closed it at 9:30 as my family was heading up to eat, so I did not feel like I got the full value of the rooms I paid for. Overall I do not think I will stay with a Best Western again- the misleading paper signs everywhere all over the walls and the breakfast not being reliable are issues I have had before on another stay so I think that really there is a policy issue that needs to change. I felt uncomfortable the whole stay and will likely not choose BW for any future stays. I did not have any issues with rudeness with any of the staff individually.

We have stayed at this property several times. It’s close to family. Always a good stay. Pool is well maintained. Breakfast is excellent and staff is always friendly and helpful.

Staff at this hotel was exceptional-they were helpful and responsive to our needs. The breakfast bar was excellent in terms of options and even gluten free items for our family members who needed that.

I prefer hotels that are not being used for residential occupancy. It appears several families are staying in the hotel permanently. I have stayed at this hotel for a long time but no longer. Electrical switches don't work. Lights blown out. Sink drains slowly. Toilet needs work flushing.

Hotel is a little run down. The adjacent room had 2 large unattended dogs as my son stated doggy mania. After multiple complaints to staff we we switch rooms to a heavily disinfected room that had a large blue antibacterial light running causing my self and family breathing difficulties. Definitely would not recommend

Excellent amenities clean great for families

Bed was hard to get comfortable on and other guests had their slider open with music going and yelling and screaming as if it was there own place to party! This woke me from a dead sleep at 10:30, my children had a hard time falling back to sleep

Unfortunately, our rooms were not ready upon arrival at 2pm. The hotel was swamped with other wedding guests so when the hotel offered to call when my rooms were ready I had no problem waiting! Being short staffed and very busy is tough. Half hour later I got the call that the rooms were ready. Showed up to the desk to check in to find out only one room was ready. I had 7 family members jammed into one room all trying to get ready for the upcoming event. Unfortunately, room two wasn’t ready until 2.5 hours after arrival time. It was frustrating and disappointing to say the least.
