Schoolhouse Inn was great. We had a quiet and comfortable cabin. Amenities werefie. Royce, the owner, and his family were friendly and helpful. Rooms were also very reasonably priced. We will be back.

Very convenient for our family of 4 for a one-night stop in North Conway. I appreciated the warm welcome upon arrival as the lady told me about the history of the place while leading me to our room and making sure it was meeting my expectations. We found the room very clean with nice old wooden floor. A/C was modern, not noisy. Nice bedding and curtains that match the historical touch of the place. Got good tips from gentleman at check out. Would go back.

What a great place to stay, we chose the cabin, rustic but very clean, perfect for us. The people who run it are so very nice, it’s family run and what a great bunch they are. When I go to New Hampshire again this is where I will go, every time. We had the best time and loved the quiet cabin with an enclosed deck in the rear very private, we had so much fun relaxing out there after a busy day. Great place.

This is a classic place! We loved the homey, comfortable feel - not fancy but so nice - everything was clean and the room was just what we needed for a weekend to visit StoryLand and see foliage. We were happy to stay here and would recommend for families. Staff were all so kind and welcoming. They also do not force a three or two night minimum which we really appreciated.

I stayed in one of the cabin units (2 queen beds) with my 2 kids. It was cozy and clean as others have said. Nice little toiletries, the A/C worked well, TV cable channels and WiFi access were seamless. Location was awesome for walking - 15 minute walk to center of town, and even better was the Thai restaurant directly next door, and cute ice cream shop just a few properties away. The owners were exceptionally accommodating even when I had special needs, and responsive to small requests also. No complaints for the price.

It was a pleasant one night stay as part of a family visit. The lady who checked us in was extremely pleasant and helpful. She told us a little about the history of the place starting as a school house in the late 1800s. We stayed in a room that was a classroom in the original school. We left very early the next since we had a long drive to get home in southern NJ. The office wasn't open so I left the key in the room. I called back after 8:00 am to tell them that we had vacated the room so that they knew that they could start the cleaning process. The gentleman that answered the phone was just as pleasant as the lady who checked us in. People make the difference.

My family of 4 stayed in a cabin and it was definitely a lot smaller than I was expecting and the bathroom was tiny. Although the decor was dated, our room was still clean. I would have liked a stonger wifi signal because we couldn't locate it and my husband had to drive to McDonald's to use their wifi to finish something for work. Also, I had seen a pool in the listing but they no longer have that. The location was convenient though and the lady at the front desk was very welcoming when we arrived.

Our stay wasn't bad. Cleanliness could've been better. We witnessed the cleaning girls cleaning the room next door and they did not change the comforters, nor clean the floor or vacuum it. Ours was filthy when the kids took their socks off. The bathroom faucet was speckled with spit from whoever stood there previously. The shower curtain was dingy and too short for the shower and water kept drenching the floor. The staff was amazingly friendly and informative. There is an ample amount of things to do in the area whether you like shopping or anything to do with nature.
