Eastern Slope Inn Resort

Somehow we got placed in a room at an entirely different address and we had to walk 15 minute through the forest to get to the main hotel where the pool and hot tub were located. The hotel pool was pretty gross with mold and grime all over the pool and deck. Our towel brushed against the ground and it was block yuck all on the towel. The chlorine was so strong it turned the inside of our swim suits yellow/green. They did not have lights on the path when it got dark. It was pitch black on our walk home with my child and we ran into a bear and fox family. We started to hear howling. I called the front desk to ask about the complimentary coffee for our room since we didn’t have any and I was told it would be a awhile since my room was so far away…yes I know the room was far always also they only had 3 parking spots for the 6 rooms on our property so we didn’t have the “free parking” that was advertised. We had to park 0.5 miles away and walk.

Front desk staff was lovely. Room was gorgeous, but I did have to open the window as it was a bit too warm for me. Plenty of amenities. Wish I was staying more than one night. Used to come here years ago with my kids, so a trip down memory lane for sure.

This was a door of the moment trip. I booked the room the night before we left. Options were very limited. I have been coming to North Conway since I was a child and always wanted to stay in the big White Building. Since this was one of my few options I finally jumped at the chance. The price was very reasonable, even more so once I arrived on property. Our room was spacious with full kitchen, washer/dryer, and enormous bathroom with jacuzzi style tub. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. The gym was set up nice, and the pool area was amazing. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs. My only regret is that we didn’t book a third night. The check experience was quick and painless. The location is perfect too. You can walk to everything in downtown North Conway. There aren’t enough stars to give this place.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was very nice as well. We had a room with a murphy bed and found it to be very uncomfortable. We probably wouldn't go that route again. The queen pullout from the couch for the kids had what looked like oats on top of the sheet, hopefully just from a past guest eating on the couch before they checked out. The building seemed well maintained but I don't think staying here again would be at the top of our list.
