I’ll start with the good things. It was clean. We ate at the Seabreeze restaurant twice and the food and service were excellent. Outside of that, there was much to be desired. We were there for the weekend to see a concert at Sphere, to shop and gamble. At midnight on a Friday night when we returned from the concert, there was only ONE place in the resort that was open to get food—2 types of salad, pepperoni or cheese flatbread pizza, 2 or 3 deli sandwich options, and pastries. No seating to be able to sit and have a meal. Staff at one of the little convenience shops for sodas was rude. Lack of seating in the lobby, particularly near bell services. Just stand over to the side and wait for your bags. The A/C in the room didn’t feel cool. If you TOUCH the snacks or items on the dresser/minibar, you will be charged—there’s a sensor. Thankfully our kids are 16. You can’t use the fridge in the room to store leftovers or you get charged?! The front doors to the resort don’t open automatically and no staff is there to open them, so you have to struggle with your suitcases and the giant glass doors. Several staff were blatant about expecting a tip (I’ll be the one taking your bag, but someone else will be the one bringing it back—said 2x). This is not service/hospitality, and it MOST DEFINITELY does not make me feel like I want to come and spend my money gambling here. We loved Sphere and we will be back for that, but I don’t think we would stay here again.

Mobil check in and out with phone keys is very quick and convenient with MGM App.
The room is clean in general with comfortable beds. There was hair stuck on the shower wall from previous guests and the shower drain is slow in our room. Do not touch anything at the convenience bar. Outrageous price for $25 per bottle of water. $50 if you would like a mini fridge in your room. Ice is free. Camp at Mandalay bay with a drug store ice box to have cold water & milk for the kids is not exactly family friendly.
The pool water is chilled for the hot summer days. But too cold for younger kids who took over the hot tub because they can't stay at the regular pools or lazy water for too long.

The registration desk is highly disorganized. I checked in at 10 am to make sure my friend and i could get adjoining rooms for our 14 year old kids to hand out. They said we would receive a text at 3pm (standard check in time) with our room assignments. My friend received a text, but I did not. I went to the kiosk check in and turned out we were both assigned to the same room. I went to the front desk and they said my room was not cleaned yet. I went up to my friends room and waited. Around 3:30pm I called the front desk and they said my room was ready however, it was on a separate floor and not adjoined. Someone room my room assignment. They changed the room back to the adjoining room;however, it was still not clean. I waited and still no text that my room was ready. At 5:45pm I called again and the room was still not showing as cleaned. Each time I called the front desk, I had to hold for 15 mins before anyone picked up. I went downstairs again because the front desk people were all matter of fact that the delayed check in was normal and nothing they could do about it. They offered nothing my inconvenience. I went down to the reg. desk and there was a line going back to my elevator close to 50 people! I asked the front desk for help and they said my room was ready; however, I never received a text message! They offered me $50 meal credit, but when i went to check out the credit did not show up. I forgot to mention that 2 of my pool floats were stolen at the pool!

I visited during Memorial Holiday and there were a lot of people.
Check in and check out was very easy and didn't take long.
If I had known if personal tubes were allowed in the pool, I would have prepared in advance.
It was great to stay with the kids.

Stayed 4 nights with a kid.
Pros:
Great pool and inside restaurants.
Parking was always available, even during holiday and game night.
Reasonable distance to strip and other fun centers.
We could use the same parking card to access many other locations under the same company (MGM?)
Cons:
Our view was roof of hotel buildings!
Rooms were somehow old.
If you touch or move bar or other water/snacks on the table, they will charge you as they have motion sensors (seriously?!). We had to call front desk and explained that this was a honest mistake.the lady was rude. Anyway they didn’t change us.
Room cleaning service was below average. They left the trash and used towels inside bags in the room. We put them outside of the room and they stayed there for another day! And we didn’t call the front desk as you need to wait for a long time before you talk to them.
Shower was bad! If someone used the faucet, the water turned cold!!! Come on, this was supposed to be a 4 star hotel!
