Holiday Inn Express Winnemucca, an IHG Hotel

Second time staying in this small town and was way better than last time! Two small kids makes hotels hard. All went well and happy with the nights stay on the way to Lake Tahoe!

The rooms are all updated and amazing. We have stayed at this hotel for years due to the indoor pool for our kids but this time the rooms were so great.

Great facility for family gathering.

Indoor pool is not heated; my kids were freezing. Hotel under construction so gym was not available and there was no hot tub. Extremely noisy neighbors who kept us up all night/morning. For $300 a night-I would never go back.

We stayed for one night. It was a good stoppi g point in our way back home. There is construction/remodeling going on, but it wasnt overly loud at all. The room we stayed in was supposed to have 2 queens and a pull out. It stated on the website that it slept 6. I was a bit disappointed when i arrived to find out they had new pullout couches ordered that hadnt been delivered yet, so they out one rollaway in the room. When you are a parent traveling with 5 kids, all teens, you get a room that sleeps 6 so that you can all have a bed! Luckily they were able to accomidate us with an extra roll away, i just wish they had been upfront about it when we booked the room! The walls were a bit thin, we could hear the people next door talking regularly. But overall its a nice clean hotel with very nice upgraded rooms and an excellent continental breakfast. The staff was friendly, and accomidating.

Wonderful staff at check in, there were fresh cookies ready when we got there! Pool is great, kids loved it. The only issue we had was that the gym’s work out machines were broken so I couldn’t get my workout in. They have weights though.

We weren’t told about the construction. Gym was closed. Poor was cold. Construction material everywhere and unsafe for kids. Broken tile in bathroom and we hurt our foot on the grout that was coming out from it.

Public area was under construction. We found several long black hairs on the bathroom walls and floor. Overall very clean hotel and comfortable stay with a family. Also, the Mexican restaurant next door had great food.
