Hampton Inn Las Vegas North Speedway

We stayed 5 days. The pool was immaculant!!! I don't think i have ever seen an outdoor pool so crystal clean!!!! The door to the pool was fine as long as you lifted up, otherwise due to the sagging the latch would stick hard. Staff member smiled and greeted us. They seemed genuine. When i asked for anyhing each was obliging. The breakfasts were tasty with varieties of choices and hot coffee all day. Some sweets on dfferent days. Holloween decorations as soon as you entered. I understand each facility makes their choices on decorations but we had just come from another hampton inn and suites in Arizona the night before with a pool and hot tub indoor. Each place definately have their perks to enjoy. We were happy with both stays as we drove from east side of new mexico through arizona to Las Vegas to get married and stay for 3 days of NHRA racing. My husband worked several years for Ford and as a mechanic for many years never seeing the races Live we had to make it. A long time friend of his lived in vegas about 15 years ago for about 10 years. He would never had left were it not for his family. He and one of my sons joined us to share our day. Thank goodness for the friend we may not have gotten my boy. Thats another review for something else.... Maybe it was my mindset or maybe the people and places were incredible. While I've been to better Hampton Inns, this one was not bad. It had a few things that showed signs of wear (like the bathroom vanity and a water-damaged area near the shower). My family thought the beds were great. Mine felt like I was sleeping on a stack of cardboard, so I guess it depends on the luck of the draw or how firm one likes their mattress. The breakfast was good, but not amazing. With that said, how many free breakfasts *are* amazing? All in all, it was a good hotel for the price.
