It was a 15 minute walk to CHI event center and the room we picked out for the family was very spacious. Was great for the 2 year old and kids to play in

The only positive is the individual at the front desk. She was friendly at the beginning. Biggest problem from the beginning is the very limited parking. Cars parked all around the front door and on sidewalks. Was later told that we had to pay for parking but couldn’t be guaranteed a spot. Next problem, we were given a much smaller room than what we had paid for through Hotels.com. We were told that because we didn’t book directly through their website we got whatever was left because we use the third-party vendor. Our room was booked weeks in advance but when we got to the hotel the only room left was way smaller than we booked. Had a king bed when we booked 2 queens and a pull out. The attendant at the desk said it was because priority was given to guests who don’t use hotels.com. Was a terrible time trying to get a refund and had to look to a different hotel but couldn’t use hotels.com because it was already 12am. Terrible experience and very difficult with small children. Never an offer from the hotel to help make it right just “ next time use the hotel website”.

We were pleasantly surprised with how large the double Queen with a pullout couch was. It was a nice size for our family of 5. The room had a weird smell and unfortunately the windows do not open to air out. The air conditioner would cool down to 65° which didn’t feel cool enough. Not sure if it was working properly. When we pulled the couch out to use, there where sheets on it that appeared to be dirty and used. We got new sheets at the front desk. It was a quiet hotel, no noise disturbances. Parking was tough, you pay $25 per 24 hours to park and there were very limited spaces. The best part about our stay was the size of the room and how quiet it was.

Overall our stay was great! Super clean rooms, lobby, hallways and delicious breakfast. Able to find the parking lots very easily. The pool water appearance greenish color. The kids mention the bottom of the pool appear to be brown on the bottom. It was disappointing

The young lady working the front desk when we checked in was great! Clearly cared about her job, smiled, made thoughtful dinner recommendations (3 kids with me), and knowledgeable. Also the breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful! Hotel is dated, but service was great!

We arrived and after letting the kids swim out some energy out after being cooped up in the car for 9 hours, went to the room to shower. We realozed our shower was broken (handle wouldnt budge in any direction, all 4 of us tried!) We went to the desk and spoke with Jessica and she was very helpful and accomodating! The breakfast in the morning was great as well. Only downside to staying here is the cars that beat music and rev engines at all hours of the night right outside the window it sounded.. but it is downtown and Jonas Brothers concert had ended. We would definitely stay again if in the area!

Actually a very nice hotel. I had 2 rooms. One the curtains would not go down all the way, the carpet was very dirty. Second room, the tub wouldn’t drain, toilet wouldn't flush correctly. Then after i PAID for Parking, there were no spaces to park, forcing us to park on the street. Desk clerk really could care less, all he would say, "we are almost full, so there are no spaces left". And no refunds! To top it off, there was a fight in the pool area which my 4 family members had to endure.(which was not the hotels fault)
