Best Western Plus Ogallala Inn

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and common areas were clean and well kept. The hot breakfast was well put together, scrambled eggs, sausage links, potatoes, along with pastries and muffins, coffee, Capuchino, and a juice machine. The room was great, the only problem was that the barn style sliding door to the bathroom was extremely heavy, very hard to open. Might want to have maintenance ease the tension on those pullies or at least apply some lubricant. I had to open the door for my elderly parents as well as my children.

Was super pleased with our pleasant check in for family of five with young kids. Staff was very polite and patient! Facilities clean and surprisingly modern for the price. Room very basic, that’s fine, we paid for that. Pool very small and basic, that’s fine, our kids enjoyed it. Two TVs in the room, only one worked—not that we cared. Overall, for the money, this was a nice stay for a basic family of five.

Super clean and spacious hotel! Our room was perfect for a family of six (rooms for 6 people are hard to find). Everything about the hotel is nice! Pool is warm and clean, exercise room has quality equipment, breakfast area is spacious and modern, hallways are wide and neutral, rooms are a great size and in excellent shape!

Newer hotel close to the lake. The room was very spacious and quiet. The beds were comfortable too! The breakfast area was more than accommodating with Many choices and the attendant kept everything filled. The only complaint we had was with the rudeness of employees to a large family that thought they had rooms booked and found an internet company didn’t get them actually booked. This. Delicate matter needed professionalism and empathy as others in-line heard the sarcasm and rudeness from employees.,

The hotel is located in a beautiful family friendly town and the hotel was just as beautiful and family friendly. We have a family of 6 and the 2 queen and 1 sofa bed room was perfect for us. There were two tvs so the kids could watch something before bed and the a/c worked well. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and nice. The service was friendly and gave us an extra blanket (since I don't share well). Breakfast had lots of hot and cold options and the adults and kids ate well and stayed full (which is difficult to do). We definitely recommend and wish we had more time so we could have checked out the pool. It definitely looked like a good time.

We had a family reunion at the hotel and they accommodated us very well. There were over 50 family members in attendance. We used the conference room for the full three days. The swimming pool was also excellent

Traveling with family to visit family in Iowa. The service was excellent and the room met our needs nicely with 2 queens and a couch bed. The breakfast was very nice. The only drawback was the beds were a bit too firm for my taste.
