Worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. Waited in the lobby for 20 mins before someone showed up to check me in. 4:30 in the morning the fire alarm went off. My kids and I ran outside in the cold without our stuff. No one else came out. No staff advised us it was safe to come back in. Must have been a false alarm and most of the residents probably lived there and knew it was false. Well we didn’t. Stood out in the cold for 30 mins before we finally walked back in.

I’ll be honest, I have never stayed at a bad Econolodge. Until this trip. After 30 minutes I decided that I was not going to allow my 4 teenagers, my best friend and I to stay in a place that had dirty sheets, mold on the bathroom ceiling, dirty microwave, the heater did not work, and the beds were terrible, when you would sit on edge, you would roll/fall into the middle. There were sketchy people who were Accross the hall. The guy was creepy, and would stand out in the hall and watch my teenagers. He was also high and drunk. It is definitely worth spending the extra 40 dollars per room to go to the La Quinta. The gal at the front desk apologized, and said she would have to put in a request for a refund. To be honest, I’d be willing to eat at money for the safety of my family.

We came in rather late, 11pm or so, as we were traveling across the country. Someone was at the front desk promptly and along with my husband and children, we were sent to our room where we wanted to crash immediately. The room had not been cleaned at all! Unmade beds, etc. The next room we were sent to was musty/damp and smelled of cigarettes in a nonsmoking room. We decided out luck probably wouldn't be better trying a third time. Lumpy old pillows and mattresses that sagged in the middle. I'm pretty sure I got some bites on my legs from I don't want to think of what. The hallway floors were severly stained and it looked like their wash room had flooded recently. We left at 5am just to get out of there. Will never stay here again.

We walked into our room and walked immediately out. The hall was littered with mattresses and baby items. Missing carpet tiles, fan cover broken off. It was terrible. We didn’t feel safe and immediately left a non-refundable room without even stepping all the way in. What a shame this was even advertised.

Where do I start? Bad smells, paper-thin walls, extremely loud washing machine next to us running at 1:00 am, bad mattress, supposed to be queen-sized bed and it was a full, got stuck in a bizarre room that was huge and the ceilings were 12 feet tall, screaming kids and parents next to us, parking lot was full of garbage, dog poop and food spilled right outside of the door, coffee pot in our room was broke, didn’t eat the breakfast because it wasn’t worth it, hotel overall (lobby, hallways, room) needs updating. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels, and this was one of the worst. Pictures online are not from this hotel.
