This property was located perfectly on the lake. Felt very inviting and warm. Loved the complimentary s'mores in the evening for the kids. Felt like a very family friendly lodge.

This property is situated in an absolutely stunning setting. The back patio overlooking the lake is one of the most serene dinning experiences I've ever had. You can also just sip a drink here at any time of the day. The kids love the Lodge because of all the little details: each room has a stuffed toy bear, the Lodge mascot. It is for purchase but the kids do get to enjoy the bear for the duration of their stay. You can also purchase a new bear at the front desk. The kayaking is free. There are stand up paddle boards and boats for rent. The kids also get free smores in the evenings and there is complementary wine for adults between 5 and 6 PM. Another amazing detail is the heated stone floor as you exit the lodge on your way to the hot tub and pool space. The indoor and outdoor pools are so much fun. The property is clean and the service is amazing. It can be a bit slow during the shoulder seasons but we never mind since we're there to relax and are rarely on a schedule...

Great place to stay for family Vacation

This property is beautiful and for the price you pay to experience it I think the stay should be near perfect. This is the first time I stayed at the property and I think my room was the worst one perhaps because I booked on Expedia. My Mountain View room was a room across the street from the lake and my view was the parking lot. My toilet ran all night and the room I was in was the last room by the sky bridge exit to the main lodge. Kids ran constantly through that door and down the bridge. I asked the front desk if I could move rooms in the morning and she told me I couldn’t because they were full (on a Monday night). But she said they’d have maintenance come fix the toilet. I was gone most of the day and when I returned I opened the door and the toilet was still running. Unfortunately, I had an emergency with one of my kids and I had to hurry up and leave that night and the hotel was gracious enough to refund my 1 night and not charge me for having to leave. I appreciated that. I booked at this location for a peaceful 2 night getaway, solo without my family for some much needed R&R. I unfortunately did not get the rest I had so badly hoped for. The positives: everything besides the toilet, location of my room and noise. The views from the dining room are phenomenal. The food is delicious. Drinks even better. It’s decorated for Christmas right now and brightens the holiday spirit.
