Yellowstone Lodge

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at Yellowstone Lodge. It was convenient being on the west side of Yellowstone National Park! There was a continental breakfast, but it was ok. Frozen waffles to put in the toaster, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt. The indoor pool was nice plus the hot tub was working! We had to let the front desk know each morning if we needed new towels., etc. One would think if staying somewhere more than one night, of course more towels are needed. Housekeeping left towels & removed the trash from the trash cans, however, beds were left unmaid. Overall, a comfortable stay and safe area for my family.

The young man that checked us in was wonderful and when I adked for a room with a sofa bed so my adult child didn't have to share a bed with myself or my Aunt he was so kind to upgrade us to the family suite for no extra fees as we were only there for 1 night. The beds were comfortable and fpr me thats huge definitely will go back here next year for our trip back!!

The property condition and facilities are poor. Lights in bathroom sometimes don't work. When we turn on lights in the bathroom, the fan in the bathroom is also on and it makes loudly noise, and there is no way to turn on lights only. So, I have to use "dark" bathroom in the morning in order to not disturb my child and my wife who are still in sleep. The room is with noise all the time and we don't know where these noises are from. Maybe other room or some facilities. The food type of breakfast is limited, and staff is also not very friend. One morning, my wife wanted to make a cereal and she used the bottle with more milk rather than another bottle with less milk, then their staff said "Jesus, why you do not use that bottle (with less milk)?" Another bad experience is my child held his bowl with milk to a table, and he spilled out a few milks to the ground, and that staff immediately came to my child and said "Messy!" We didn't find that staff said these bad words to other white customers, maybe because we are Asian or Chinese?

Even they emphasize the breakfast is simple continental but it has good selections. We stays for 4 nights and we had a lot of fun with the pool and the breakfast with kids.

Really nice stay, would recommend to friends and family

The kids loved the swimming pool and hot pool. Not big but decent for kids to splash some water in.

The staff was friendly but the condition of the hotel is not great. There was a greasy handprint on the wall, hair all over the shower, and stains on the bedding. The pool area also has extremely limited seating so we couldn’t even sit to watch our kids swim.

The lodge is decent. It's older but kept well. The free breakfast is not very impressive unless you can eat gluten and all the carbs known to man, haha! It wasn't the "hot" continental breakfast we were hoping for with scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon. If you can't have gluten, pack breakfast items to eat or be prepared to go somewhere. The front desk lady was so kind and accommodating. We checked in after 7pm and we were grateful to get a quiet suite room. That was nice. The bedding smelled funny but I was so tired, I was guessing maybe too much bleach in the wash. In any case, it was decent. Will probably stay somewhere else if we go to Yellowstone again. The pool is small but kids liked it. We really just needed a place to stay anyways because we spent most all of our time in the park so it worked out well.

Great access to Bryce. Very good buffet. Noisy neighbors and screaming kids annoying. Private homes nearby let mean dogs run loose.

Bath fan loud, Hot tub not hot Food or something on ceiling. ( we cleaned off) Cartoon channel did not work for kids Vending machine took money with no product in return
