Best Western Plus Clocktower Inn

We stayed one night and I booked here for the airport shuttle. When we checked in they said no shuttle because the driver wasn’t available. We booked a Uber. Got to the room it was clean. The bed was lumpy. You could hear kids screaming from the pool. In the morning they said we could get a shuttle because the driver showed up. We canceled our Uber went down to catch the shuttle and the driver left to get doughnuts and forgot his radio. We had to request another Uber when the driver suddenly showed up. Our continental breakfast was granola bars because their breakfast place wasn’t serving yet. Another reason I booked was so we could get a meal before we traveled. For the money we spent it wasn’t worth the price. At least it was clean.

Front desk clerk seemed kind of short and moody. I was surprised how she spoke about no dogs, smoking or messes in the room. I was not planning on any of those. Also she was rude about having booked the room for 2 but then having 3 (my child ended up staying with me instead of her team, as originally panned) She informed me that I would not be entitled to breakfast for 3 since I only booked for 2. Then once in the room, We found trash and airline tickets from previous person still in the drawers. We found the double beds hard and uncomfortable.

The Clock Tower was great as usual. Only they were out of pet friendly rooms so I left my Chesapeake's in the pickup. They are hunting dogs. My pickup has water and beds for the dogs. My pickup is also to large for the parking so I parked in wrong place and was asked to move by some security. The security also commented on leaving dogs in the vehicle. The “rent a cop” security guy again said they would call the cops for leaving dogs in a vehicle and impound my pickup. It was at night and it’s winter so it is not hot. My dogs are probably cared for more than some peoples kids. Anyway the rent a cop made such a deal out of it that I left about midnight and just drove home. It was a terrible experience only because of a roaming security company. Again the clock tower was good but the security guy who could have been nice and lenient on an over sized pickup was terrible.
