Holiday Inn Express Picayune-Stennis Space Center, an IHG Hotel

It was super close to where we were visiting family and all the way around just a good visit.

Great price. Room smelled like cigarettes though. Shower wasn't the cleanest. Rest of the room was clean and nice. They gave a top floor room as requested. Thank you. Convenient location. Fairly quiet. Like that they have a pool for the kids. Coffee is the worst.

The stay overall was good. I love the pancake machine that Holiday Inn has, unfortunately, it was malfunctioning the entire time, and when it finally was able to make a pancake, it was not very good. Everything was fine in my room. However, my family in at least two of the other rooms did not have televisions that worked. The staff attempted several times to fix the issue, but were unsuccessful. The staff, and particular Marissa at the reception desk, was very kind, pleasant, and really appeared to enjoy her job. Thank you.

We were supposed to get two queen beds and a sofa. Instead we got a king bed and a sofa. We were here for a softball tournament so we had to get on of our kids to stay with another family. Plus the toilet in the room did not work.

Reserved a king suit and got two queens, we stayed 4 nights and my 1 year old sleeps between us so there was no room, I got an oh well at the counter. I then had to ask for towels and a shower curtain. There was chewed gum on the tables underside my kid found and white residue on the carpet next to the sofa. Also guests were loud right outside the front entrance that you could hear throughout the hotel, I had to call the front desk and it still took an hour to calm them down and it was past midnight. The water pressure is good and so is the AC.

Everyone's toilet was so loud when you flushed it. Not only in my room but other family members said it to us that theirs's did the same. Mattress was hard. No hair dryer in the room.

The hotel was conveniently located near area family. It was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly.

We have family in the area so we have to come to Picayune at least annually. For the past 7 years we have stayed at the Holiday-Inn Express. We chose it the first time because it was a relatively new hotel, so we felt that it would meet our standards. And boy did it. So now it is our place to stay when we are in town. Along with visiting family, one thing we always look forward to is eating at Southen Char on Canal Street. It and the hotel will keep you coming back for years.

Stayed in mid-July & at 5 am the A/C started blowing HEATED air. Turned it off & 5 minutes later it turned itself back on & wouldn’t turn off. Called front desk & requested maintenance, by 7 am they still hadn’t shown up & the room was HOT. We got in at midnight & were in need of sleep. Still had an 8 hour drive ahead of us & a family emergency back home. We also saw roaches running out from under the ac unit. We paid extra to stay in a nicer hotel FOR NOTHING. The clerk told us SEVERAL people had called through the night to complain about their rooms, so what’s up? Requested a partial refund through hotels.com & no one ever contacted us back.
