Quality Inn & Suites Slidell

I should have spent the extra 20 and stayed anywhere else. I’m truly surprised they put us in a room where it was completely moldy and visibly moldy. When on my reservation I have an infant we all woke up with headaches feeling very sick the whole next day. but nowhere else to go we drove for 12 hours and we’re so exhausted the walls are so thin we heard our next-door neighbor all night long. We honestly didnt feel safe in this hotel either, the Vibe and feeling I got in that hotel was not good. The breakfast was very limited. I did not even grab a coffee or any fruit.I ate nothing there. I just wanted to get out of there and never return. I tried reaching out to the hotel, but they never responded to me. I have pictures of mold on their window treatments that are above the AC unit that’s been blowing into the room. When I checked out, nobody was at the desk. I’ve been trying to reach out through Expedia to at the very minimum to Let them know to remove that window treatment and other obvious signs of mold so other people won’t get sick and the only reason I’m leaving this review is because I’m not getting a response from anyone there, and they need to be made aware of how unhealthy and unsafe at least the room I was in so other people don’t get sick.

The toilet was a little low to the floor for me (I'm 6'4" and the toilet looked to be accessible to a child). Also the TV didn't work quite right, only had about 20 channels and most were Spanish centered.

Air and Heater system was not clean and made breathing issues for my family. The breakfast was low quality and limited options. My family will not stay here again.
