This was our second time staying here. The 1st was three years ago when our daughter moved to campus as a freshman and the hotel was new. Oxford had limited availability this past week for a whole family and we chose to stay here again. We definitely had some concerns with the housekeeping of our room not being up to Hilton standards, but the front of the house staff (front desk and GM) genuinely cared and worked hard to correct the issues. I think that they will be on closer watch to ensure housekeeping is doing the best they can do in our new "Covid World" and also just to keep up with the better Oxford hotel choices. That said, I was shocked to see how much wear-and-tear this place has absorbed in 3 years. Small things like the front porch area couches being worn, the elevator door tracks being dirty, the windows not being cleaned inside the rooms, all the things we don't notice until something goes wrong and then you notice everything. I will say though. that the staff is kind, courteous and the management takes their responsibilities seriously. Hopefully they can improve what has been overlooked because this location is great - minutes from campus, next door to Lamar Yard, easy highway access, etc. It's not The Square but so few people can even book in time for the Square hotels during big campus weekends that this is a good choice overall if you want to stay in Oxford and not travel as far as Tupelo or Batesville.

Very nice employees who were helpful. My family didnt sleep due to cheap uncomfortable bedding😡 beds were hard, pillows cheap and lumpy, comforter, thin and POLYESTER sheets were awful!,, polyester! Im used to nice comfy beds! Hotel is convenient and nice, but if no other choices bring your own cotton sheets and comforters bath tub had stains
