Room was really big. Carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed and the maid gave me the shower curtain to hang up. Beds were comfy. The couch was missing a back cushion but my kids didn't mind. Location was pretty good. You have to schedule swim time for the pool.

Everything was fine until a man tried to walk in on my wife and infant that were sound asleep at 8am. My son and I left early to go hunting and put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. Luckily, my wife woke up when we left and locked the door stopper from the inside. At 8am a Hispanic man in a leather jacket unlocked the door and tried to come in. Of course it scared my wife half to death. He pushed on the door until my wife jumped out of bed and sprinted to the door in her night gown. He then mumbled something in Spanish and left. She called me in a panic so I cut my hunt short and rushed back. She had barricaded the door with the couch because she was so scared. The DO NOT DISTURB sign was still on the door when I got there. We packed the room and left and on our way out I went to the front to let the employee at the front counter know. She was kind and apologetic and said that it was probably someone on the cleaning crew, but she offered no solution for the issue whatsoever. We drove 3 hours for this hunt, and it was completely ruined because some idiot couldn’t see the sign on the door, and didn’t bother to tell the front desk so they could call the room to explain the problem. Checkout was at 11, there is no reason for an employee to try and enter a room before then if the customer hasn’t checked out. 6 hour total drive and the expense of gas and this room for absolutely nothing. Completely ridiculous.

This is a terrible, run-down, dark motel. Our room was disgusting. The carpet was dirty, there were stains on the walls and the ceiling in the bathroom was discolored from numerous old water stains. The room was so humid, our bedding was damp. It was a long, miserable night. I tried to find another hotel room in Columbus, but at 9pm, they were all booked. The only positive is the clientele; a lot of nice, normal looking families like us that also got fooled by the great reviews. I will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS MOTEL.

We booked this motel bc of the inside pool so the kids could enjoy it but they didn’t get to swim at all because there was no openings then went to get clean towels there was 4 of us and all they had was 3 clean I was stunned when she told me that over all I was surprisly disappointed in our stay need to do better

Had a real noisy neighbor next door and a lot of activity near our room late. Made my family a little uncomfortable.

Hotel is VERY nice and updated. Room access is from the outside. Employees were sub-par, however. Check-in took forever, and we were asked to pay an additional fee that exceeded the room cost for “incidentals” that would “be refunded upon check-out”, however, that charge wasn’t refunded that day. Breakfast was wonderful, but the employee who manned the breakfast bar was extreme. Yelling at my children, and even so much as grabbed their waffle off of the iron because they were “doing it wrong” - this child is almost grown and can handle himself. Overall, good stay.

My youngest son and I were in town visiting my oldest child in the hospital. The hotel is only 5 minutes away which was the only bonus. Our room was on the first floor but we had to walk all the way around to get to the front entrance for breakfast, since the back entrance was kept locked. Annoying but not a huge deal. The room itself felt old and humid. There were cracks all over the ceiling and the walls. There was mildew in the shower (BTW the ceiling has an extremely low clearance so beware if you’re 6’ tall). Service and breakfast was fine. I really can’t understand these glowing reviews.
