I went inside to check in and a woman was already at the front desk. She wanted another room because she found a pair of dirty children's underwear in her room. She also complained that the room smelled musty. The front desk person blamed the mustiness on the building being old. When I checked in, she told me not to use a certain door because the key pad was broken and I would be locked out. When I entered my room it was very clean but definitely had a musty odor. When I looked out the window, I had a view of all the cars waiting in line for the Burger King drive thru. In the morning, I went to breakfast and all of the coffee machines were not working. I booked my stay at the Hampton Inn because the hotels are always nice and consistent in different states. I will definitely look for a different hotel if I ever stay in Batesville, MS.

Excellent breakfast menus - choices to accommodate any dietary needs. Staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel like family. Beds were so comfortable! The staff truly made all the difference - they went above and beyond with their warmth and hospitality. Smiles galore!

The room was damp feeling and just grungy and bedding was dirty. The staff were all very friendly and did promptly change the sheets when we asked. The pool didn’t have an umbrella, the gate was in poor shape, the fence was rusted out at the bottom. Not very safe for little kids. It was cheap enough. I accidentally booked the wrong Hampton inn. So we were stuck staying since it was non-refundable.

First, I booked the room with my discover card. Upon checking in I was told that this location does not accept discover card! I had to use another family member's visa in order to check in. I wish they had communicated that to me before my arrival!!! Then after driving nine hours, tired and ready to get some rest the first room had a horrible odor and the air condition didn't work. Second room the blinds were broken, so no sun light. Moved to the third room which was just ok. There are no drawers to put your clothes. They have three wire drawers(secured with zip ties) next to the fridge that looks like something to hold your fruit & veggies. That's where we put our clothes they couldn't be hung up. I am a HH Member and I stay at their hotels all the time. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!! Good Luck

After driving in the car with five small children for 8 hours we were looking forward to letting them burn some energy off at the pool. Imagine our disappointment and frustration that the pool was "dirty and unavailable" per the front desk staff. Upon arrival in our room, we found food in the fridge from the previous occupants as well as stained towels. Certainly expected more than this!

Pretty much everything was fine. Clean, good parking, safe feeling. We had 2 adults & 3 kids. 2 were teens. We reserved a room to sleep 5. It did not sleep 5, and the front desk had nothing to help us accomodate a 5th person. Very disappointed in that. The kids were disappointed the pool wasn't open. We were a week early.
