The staff were, by far, the best part of this property. They were so kind and helpful, especially since I had my young child with me. The room was fabulous and the whole place was clean.

I enjoy staying at this particular location because it's central to where I want to be. It is near family, shopping and the freeway is close if I choose to take a day trip to one of many beautiful Minnesota areas.

The hotel and rooms were clean, but the pool was small, the pillows paper-thin, and management not so friendly to our group. Our youth baseball team played a late game and we got back at 9:30 pm to order pizzas. However, the desk clerk kicked us out of the lobby at 10:00 before the pizza even got there and said it was MN law AND Marriott policy. We've stayed at plenty of Marriott's in MN in the past and NEVER had this happen before. Apparently, alcohol isn't allowed in the lobby either for the same reason, which was a first for us as well. We asked where else we could go and were told very rudely our rooms because it was quiet time. Sadly, this big open lobby is not even close to the first guest room, especially where we were sitting and TALKING, not partying. So, we go to one of our team member's room and carry on our conversation. We must have broken some sound barrier, though, because an employee walked into the room completely unannounced and without warning and started yelling at us how he could hear us down the hall. Funny, because our neighbors couldn't even hear us through the walls, but this invasion of privacy without warning set us all off. Where were we supposed to go to socialize when everything was shut down? If you want a clean and quiet hotel, this one is adequate. However, if you want a team hotel where you can actually socialize, turn the page. Needless to say, we all canceled our reservations for the next local tournament. We're adults, not children.
