We attended a concert at the X and stayed here the night of the show. This hotel is incredibly convenient if you’re attending events downtown, especially the X. It’s very clean, quiet, updated, and all the staff were friendly. We had 2 queen beds for 2 adults and 2 children, and had plenty of room. The breakfast was great (waffles, yogurts, oatmeal, eggs, etc) with plenty of space to eat. We were on the 5th floor (top floor) facing Kellogg and W 7th and heard the occasional horn honk but it was otherwise very quiet. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

They were unwilling to work with us after a family medical emergency. We will not be staying at this location in the future.

Had an overall good experience at this hotel. Great location for any event in downtown Saint Paul or a visit to MN. Tons of restaurants within a block and right next to the Xcel Center. We had booked a suite, and either through miscommunication between hotels.com and Hampton or the hotel giving our room away on a busy night, we were booked instead into a standard double. The front desk folks were apologetic, and switched our room after the first night. The hotel was otherwise great. Clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool.

Very clean. Updated. Great location. I wish there was an option to NOT valet park for various reasons, but our stay was great. Kids stated the pool was warm (which you hardly ever come across a pool that is warm in a hotel) and with younger kids, warm pools are GREATLY appreciated 😊. Would absolutely stay here again!

The front desk staff was less than helpful. The support staff in the kitchen and pool areas were very friendly. The room was clean but had to run to front desk for extra sheets that should have been in the room. The kids still enjoyed they stay😊
