general manager at front desk was very kind, hard working and friendly. The room was very spacious, however some rips in the carpet here and there. Only 1 garbage can for the whole large suite. Went to open the pull-out couch for my child and found dirty tissue, old food and rice all over the mattress pad. Dirty sock also found in there which showed that they had obviously not cleaned the room thoroughly. I called the front desk at 11pm and the girl working apologized and came right up with a new mattress pad for us. Pool area was nice.

I like that the front lady was very understanding and tried to accommodate me twice but after the 3rd room and the beds being dirty i finally gave up. Especially after having to drive 3 hours and having to deal with 3 rowdy children by myself. The hot tub didnt work right. I spent almost 200 for a little vacation that was unenjoyable :(.

There was an unfortunate accident in the pool area with a child and the staff was attentive and calm and did well in a high stress situation. Hotel itself was great and comfortable. Great breakfast options. We will be back!

Overall this was a good Americinn but it was hard to get a good night sleep due to kids running overhead and what sounded like a jacuzzi running next door. All the noise was between 10 and midnight and we needed to get up at 5 am. No noise barriers.

fun place to stay with kids. Clean rooms, decent breakfast, clean pool. The only thing id advise against is eating at the restaurant. The worst service I've ever had there, other than that we'd stay again if we were in the area.

The bowling alley attached was great fun, disappointed that the water slide was not open as this extra feature made us choose this hotel in the first place for our kids

It was nice but too bad the slide was broken and the kids can’t go play on it but over all everything was good

This is a decent hotel. The room was clean, though the carpeting always seemed a bit damp. Housekeeping tidied up and brought new towels and linens, but never washed the in-room coffee pot or restocked the coffee. They also failed to notice that fresh water and coffee cups were needed. The front end staff was very courteous and helpful, as was the lone woman manning the kitchen and dining area for the complementary breakfast. The breakfast itself was one step up from the traditional continental, with scrambled eggs (prepared ahead and kept in a warming bin) and do-it-yourself waffle makers. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself doesn't open until 11, so you do not have the option of ordering off menu if you get sick of scrambled eggs and waffles after day three. The pool is a lovely salt-water system, so no nasty chlorine smell, which was fantastic. It is very small, and only 4.5 feet deep at it's deepest, so don't expect swim lanes; it's more of a splash pool. The water slide is just a big curly slide that ends in the pool, not an amusement ride, though it would probably still be fun for little kids. Overall, it's a decent place to stay if you just need a place to put your head down at the end of the day. If you expect to spend any significant time at the hotel, it probably isn't your best bet. Oh, and disturbingly, nearly every restaurant and shop located nearby happened to be out of business (or keeping really bad hours) during our visit in July of 2012. Obviously, the hotel can't do anything about that, but keep it in mind.
