Home2Suites offers a consistent and comfortable stay for our family. We will continue to use their chain as needed in the multiple states we've visited. I was surprised by a parking charge however. Because I booked through Orbitz it was not highlighted/divulged that I would have to pay an extra $25 per car parked in their lot. I had no choice but to pay it as we did not have other parking options for our two cars. The front desk staff says it would have been made apparent that there was a parking fee if we had booked directly through them. This is partially a review for irritation at the hotel for having to pay parking and irritation to Orbitz for it not being communicated.

We were in Minneapolis to visit the University of Minnesota for my daughter and everyone at the hotel was so helpful! We used the shuttle service to and from the university, and the staff was so excited to share their own experiences and give helpful information about college life in the region. The hotel and room was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay! In fact, if our kiddo chooses to attend school there in the fall we will be staying there a whole lot more.

The room was amazing confusing on which part to check in on and the lady that checked me in was super rude… and unneeded stayed there cause it was close to my daughter’s hospital that we had to be at super early for her chemo and she didn’t like the fact that my family member was paying for my hotel room… she needs better people skills and not to judge…

Great hotel! Clean, roomy, comfortable for lt large family to split between two rooms, nice window coverings and I love the lighting, you can make it bright or mellow. I dislike hotels that have all the brightest bulbs and light fixtures and can’t mellow out. Thanks!

Our family of 5 stayed here two nights, and we had a great experience! The room was clean, comfortable, and had ample storage to keep all of our belongings organized. I appreciated that there was a curtain that could be used to separate the living area from the beds. Traveling with three kiddos who go to bed early, my husband and I appreciated the ability to stay up a bit later without disrupting our kids. Breakfast was the standard fare - maybe a bit better than average. There is also a pool shared with the Hampton Inn next door. It is nothing fancy - just a pool and hot tub - but our kids enjoying swimming for well over an hour. A couple other details - the property has great security. Key cards are needed to enter the building and access guest floors. Also there is a fee for parking - I missed that while booking. It was $22 per night, but it was worth the convenience of being able to load and unload luggage right outside the hotel. One downside was that housekeeping did not refresh our room during our stay. Making meals for five people in the kitchenette and accumulating take out containers amounted to full garbages by the time we left. The dishwasher in our room was not working either, so some of our stay was spent washing dishes by hand. Not a huge deal, but if you have a tight schedule it might be a hassle. These were only minor inconveniences and would not prevent us from staying again.

Wonderful hotel and experience for our family with young children. Hotel is attached to Hamilton Inn & Suites Where we and other guests had breakfast and used the pool. Not sure of the exact reason (low guest count or time low staff levels?)and whether ita a typical arrangement , but those amenities were very enjoyable. Food was fresh, always replenished and the staff were so friendly and personable! Pool was a bit chilly, too cold for some adults but not a problem for the kids! Fitness room was nice ans clean and even had a peloton! The reception staff werw always more than happy to help, even to the point of changing TV channels to accommodate several family members’ interests in the bar And bringing us dishes and silverware when we had takeout. The in-room kitchens made it convenient to store food and snacks. Beds were VERY comfortable; even the sofa bed mattress was thick and plush (no coils or bends!!)!. Location wise, there was a market Fresh Thyme (?) and a yummy boba shop Feng Che an easy 2 min walk awayZ Orherwise not much to see or do in the immediate vicinity (unless you’re there for some University event). 20 min drive to go to Saint Paul (museums) and Bloomington (MoA). Parking is steep at $22/night considering the location and lack of security and coverage. Nonetheless, this was an excellent family stay and we were very pleased and would return again

Stayed for 2 nights with family for wedding. Very clean hotel, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Yes, there was a $22 daily paking fee but this typical for the area and the parking is on site and convenient. Also has good se urity with carded entry that is also floor specific Can honestly recommend this hotel.
