Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Elk River, MN

Hotel staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool area was clean, with plenty of clean towels. Breakfast had a nice selection of cold and hot items, and even opened a half hour earlier to accommodate the snow cross racers and their families that had to leave the hotel early. The complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and cookies in the the lobby were a nice treat. Would definitely stay here again, and would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Overall, our stay was very pleasant. One night, a family stayed in the room above us and their kids were running around in the middle of the night... bathtub had a slow drain.....and operating the TV was difficult because they give you a simple remote that doesnt give you access to the picture settings. the price was great and the place was clean and safe.

We arrived and check in was easy, got to our room and it had a jacuzzi in it. Tried to use it and there wasn’t any hot water. So we decided to go to the pool area to go on the hot tub. There was at least a dozen unsupervised kids in the pool area. Another gentlemen called the front desk and she came in and said something to them. A parent finally came after a kid called him to come down. The heater in our room was blowing out cold air until about 4 am. I did let the desk know but since the room was prepaid they couldn’t do anything.

Broken fan between rooms in wall. No bathroom fan. Very stuffy and hot in living room. Too many loud kids running around late at night in hallways knocking on peoples doors and screaming in the pool area. Had to leave the hot tub due to loud noise.

We were in Elk River to visit family. The location was very convenient although there is major road construction going on that made it difficult to come and go but we figured out our routes over the course of the stay. The hotel was nice and the staff was nice.

I stayed with my 4 kids and we will return. Friendly, accommodating staff. Good breakfast. Clean facilities and room. Kids enjoyed pool. What more can you ask for?

Clean and easy to park. Great pool for kids

I've always enjoyed my stays at Country Inn and Suites. This was no different. The room was clean and had everything we needed, including space for my family of five. The pool and hot tub were great. This location did have an electrical issue at breakfast with the breaker tripping, but it did really disrupt the flow too much for the amount of guests there. I would stay again.

Was really nosey at night. When we got back to hotel around 8pm or so. Sounds like a staff member was hiding out in the breakfast room cursing and venting loudly to some one. (Not to sure doors were shut and they were rather loud.( Not sure if guest would have access if doors are shut.) later in the evening around 9:30-10pm we went to go to bed but had hard time sleeping. The guest with party of kid athletes players kept hollering and running up and down the stairs from time we laid down till midnight. Seems like whom ever runs the front at night just didn’t care or hear the noise but not sure how they didn’t notice the stairs are right there at the front check in. Other than that it was a nice stay. Person checking us in and out was friendly. Hotel it’s self was clean and comfy beds.

The elevator broke down at 9 pm on saturday and was put of service until the morning. Then there was a sign saying "the mechanics said it was ok, but we advise you not to.use it." The entire 3rd floor smelles of stale smoke. The breakfast was ok, with the exception of the breakfast sandwich that they microwaved probably an hour before, so was mediocre warm and the english muffin was already hard, so didnt want to microwave it more. Very dissappointing. Pool and hot tub was ok, except no towels and other patrons were not being respectful, by making sure their kids were out of there by 10pm. Not relaxinf with screaming kids and screaming parents.....
