Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Rogers, an IHG Hotel

This hotel was extremely dirty and unkept! We were booked in a suite with a king bed and a pull out sofa couch. Immediately after exiting the elevator you could tell the property is not well maintained but that was the just the beginning. We get into the room and begin seeing our kids up in the sofa bed. As soon as I pulled the bed out I knew I couldn’t possibly stay in this hotel. It was FILTHY!! And this wasn’t just that a spot was missed by housekeeping once, this was disgusting. That goes to show what little care they take in cleaning, can you imagine what is happening that you AREN’T seeing? Yuck! Because our kids were so excited to swim and we booked the hotel for the great pool atmosphere that was shown online, we decided to still try it out. Again, the pool was filthy with tons of staining and wear to the “attractions”. Not only that, the pool area is tiny! Don’t be fooled by the photos online like we were, it is a major let down. We ended up packing up and leaving and Not even staying…. Which is a FIRST for me! When we complained about the condition and asked for a partial refund, we were told they wouldn’t do anything because we didn’t address the concerns before leaving. Sorry, but that type of filth can’t be corrected by a room switch. Not to mention, the front desk gentleman was not friendly nor helpful during the check in process, much less trying to address concerns with him. Sorely sorely disappointed! Don’t be fooled like we were!

Great pool area for toddlers and good breakfast too!

Our room was actually quite filthy. I cleaned the bathroom myself before any use of it. Even the door to our room was disgusting. It looked as though someone spilt food/drink all down the front of it. The room smelt stale and musty. When I approached staff for an extra bag for wet clothes, I was met with EXTREMELY rude attitude. I didn’t ask for anything else… just an extra bag for wet suits. They wouldn’t turn the splash pad area on for my kids either. No explanation. Just didn’t do it.

The pancake maker both days of our stay and the coffee make the second day weren’t working. Not terribly inconvenient but when I asked for more Kuerig pods from the front desk, they scrounged up one decaf. No offer to bring me more or anything. So front desk staff kept me from rating this excellent but cleaning staff were very pleasant! Bed was a little firm for my liking but not unbearable. The children’s pool was awesome!!!!

Pool was out of order, staff didn't seem to know or care about this. Very disappointed kids that turn into frustrated parents. Room was in ok shape but I question how well that cleaned when my daughter found a $5 bill on the floor, how of all this was money not cleaned up. Makes you wonder what else was not cleaned.

Nice staff, walking distance to movie theater and bar. Target is close. Grandkids loved the pool.

They had no idea how to check the ph level of the pool so it remained closed all morning on the weekend while a number of families were waiting and never got to use it.

Great place to stay with the family!

Was rated 8 on hotels.com and pictures looked nice. Wasn’t terrible but there was skittles on our room floor, and the bed skirt looked dirty. Was looking forward to the hot tub but the hot tub heater was broken and the pool was super cold for my kids. Also the beds were very uncomfortable. Staff was nice though.

The person working at the front desk was great! He helped me find a place to store my frozen breast milk when I found out that the room fridge didn’t have a freezer. It may seem like a small thing, but it was huge for a mom of a newborn!
