Very nice hotel perfect for families

We stay every month and normally it’s always a pleasant stay but this time it was terrible. Boys baseball tournament and e boys running up and down halls, knocking on peoples doors, very disrespectful. Couldn’t enjoy pool or hot tub as the parents didn’t do anything to control the kids. Hotel didn’t do anything either. Not the only one complaining. Won’t be staying there next month

Quick check-in, comfortable beds, fun oool for the kids.

Was there approximately 7:00 minutes with the vehicle parked up front but not under the carport area. Unloading kids and suitcases. Get a call from front desk person named Destiny, asking me to move the vehicle.

I booked this early in July, read that it was cat friendly, called to verify it was cat friendly, drove across the country...for them to have had a policy change that was on a sticky note. Not only did they not honor the fact it was cat friendly when I made the reservation just weeks prior, they also told me it wasn’t their job to notify customers. It was still listed online as cat friendly. So I was left scrambling to find rooms for 2 adults, 6 kids, and a cat. That’s pretty ridiculous.

Quiet, family friendly and nice pool area.

The staff was very friendly but the bed in the sofabed needs to be tossed. Even for kids it was really bad. Pulled it out in the floor and 3 comforters didnt help. King bed wasnt much better. Again staff was great, breakfast was great...beds sucked.

This was the absolute worst stay I have ever had at this property! The staff was incredibly rude and the lack of amenities available was absurd. I called early in the day at 1:00pm and asked if I could check in early and got screamed at. They had not one clean room available and wouldn’t until 2:45pm which I found to be an odd random time. The lady early in the day told me the pool was available as I asked and I got there and it was closed for seasonal maintenance. The outlets in the room were all loose and thus had to find things to prop up chargers into the outlets. I have stayed here at this facility and had family stay here over the past 15 years and we checked out the next morning; went down the road and got a cheaper room, twice the size, fantastic staff, and a pool that was open! Holiday Inn was great and really proved that there are quality places to stay in Albert Lea

We had a great stay. The room had lots of space for our family and was very clean. The complementary breakfast was one of the best I have had at a hotel. I was very happy with our stay and plan to stay again next year.

I stayed here with my family for one day after a week in other hotels as part of a family trip and everyone agreed this was the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The rooms were clean and quiet. The pool and hot tub were clean and functional. The breakfast was pretty standard fare, but I appreciated how clean the area was and the room for everyone to sit and not feel rushed.
