Delamar Traverse City

The rooms were nice and clean and comfy. The view of the bay was beautiful. The patio bar was fun for our family gathering and complimentary breakfast was also very plentiful. My only complaint was the bathroom vanity size very minimal size for getting ready. Also the closet rods were low to the ground and had to hang up bridal dresses and didn’t want them to get wrinkled on the bottom.

Our family has stayed here the past 3 times while visiting Traverse City and we won't stay anywhere else.

Best Resort in Northern Michigan on the beautiful shore of Traverse Bay. The shuttle service to downtown Traverse City is extremely convenient. The lounge, common space and guest rooms are very comfortable. The pools and restaurants are very good. With one exception the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not able to accommodate my family of 6 for dinner on our last evening without a prior reservation.

We loved our stay at Delamar, one of the top 5 resorts we have every stayed at! The property is so beautiful and spotlessly clean. The amenities were top notch! The pools and sauna were amazing and the workout room one of the best I have ever used! Our room was wonderful with a beautiful view, spacious, and so clean and comfortable. The staff was professional, kind, and always went above and beyond. The restaurant and lounge area was amazing and the complimentary breakfast was the best we have ever had! We truly felt spoiled here and didn't want to leave! At Delamar we felt like every attention to detail was addressed from the staff, cleanliness, amenities, location(views),and artwork/decor. This resort truly provides everything for any age, personality, etc. The kids had the pool, game area(lounge), and outdoor games while the adults could also indulge in a romantic restaurant, comfort, and live music. We would most definetly stay here again!!!

We stayed here a night before surprising our kids with GWL, it was a beautiful relaxing stay. We enjoyed the sauna while the kids swam. We didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor pool but heard great reviews from other guests. Awesome I mean awesome “grab and go” breakfast was included too! I’d stay here again with or without kids, highly recommend! Service was excellent too, the employees are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! It’s right on the water and they have a shuttle downtown (we didn’t use but added bonus). Just book it, you won’t regret.

Upon getting to our room, noticed a funny smell that didn’t go away. Staff were very accommodating and moved us to a different room and offered hote credit and drink vouchers. Very friendly and understanding. The outdoor pool was wonderful, the kids loved it. Good breakfast (free) and the restaurant and service was also excellent.

The grounds and rooms were wonderful. We didn’t get to use the outdoor pool because it was so crowded. It got very loud with guests running around, slamming doors, and making a ruckus late into the night. It was a fun hotel but it seems more geared towards families with rowdy kids and the party crowd. Not the best place for adults looking for a quiet and relaxing get away.

We visit this property yearly and each year it seems they do something to make the hotel better. I would highly recommend this Hotel for families, business trips, couples, or girl/guys trip. They are within walking distance to the downtown area, parks, and they have their own beach. My only small issue was Expedia VIp benefits, but it did not change my opinion of the hotel. We will be staying here again this summer and next February. -BR

Stayed with visiting family. Great dinner experience. The pool and cabanas were awesome!
