Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Traverse City, MI

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The pool was nice. I went there two days in a row and decided to stop using hot tub after a child had a bowel movement on her suit while dipping. Overall I was satisfied with the services including good breakfast.

Excellent hotel for families

Hotel was good. Friendly. Really terrible that they will not all drinks or beverages of any sort at the pool. I understand food, but beverages? Kind of a joke, especially with kids.

Was not a great welcome when we were asked to take down our Player hockey door flags from our door for our child’s safety because they could be targets. Not a great Hotel for Sports teams and their families.

A very average hotel. Toilet seat was loose, there was a long hair on the floor in bathroom, grout job on tile was poor, grout in shower was aging. I opened my eyes in the pool underwater and the chlorine was overpowering. It took me at least 5 minutes of rinsing my eyes in water to recover. The breakfast was very mediocre. Add all this to a more than doubled rate ($375) due to a kid’s soccer tournament and safe to say we won’t be back. Only real positive was the staff who were very nice.

I am giving this review a two star rating. It was not the hotels fault but there were kids everywhere due to a soccer tournament. Everyone was complaining about the noise. The parents didn't seem to care. The staff was trying hard to control the noise problem in the middle of the night but they would have needed about 4 security people to do a good job. I felt sorry for the staff at the hotel as they were trying to deal with the complaints but having a really hard time. Other than the noise, the staff was very nice, room was very clean and I would stay again but this stay was less than optimal.

We stayed four nights. The room was quiet and the beds were comfortable enough for sleep. It's always nice to have breakfast included with enough choices to keep each of us happy. Coffee, tea, and cookies are available throughout the day. We had to ask for clean towels, shampoo, etc. but got them that way. I reported one pillow that smelled sour when I laid my head on it the first night. It was replaced and more the fault of whomever threw up on it or spilled milk not letting the hotel know. My daughter and granddaughter enjoyed the pool each evening although the chemicals were "off" sometimes (lots of kids at the hotel probably the reason). We would stay again as it's a good choice for the area. If you have any issues, I do believe they will try to rectify whatever is wrong when told. The location is convenient, too.

Perfect for a family looking to explore the area. We stayed for two nights and would have been happy to stay two more. Clean facilities, great breakfast, and a wonderful pool and hot tub. East distance from downtown, restaurants, and beaches. We traveled all over including sleeping bear dunes and a lovely remote beach farther north and when we asked the kids their favorite thing they said the hotel pool! So there you go :-)
