Quick overnight stay to visit with family in town. The stay was perfect in every way. Thank you very much for making our family visit extra special with the comfort of your hotel accommodations. Highly recommended!

Expedia, my wife could not check in to the RPH. I was not present so we were not able to use your service. Last time I will, get your info together. And RPH for a five star place the minimal savings with Expedia, and not letting my wife check in your kidding right. Ladies at the desk I told were nice but Mgr. Should have just let her check in with or with out a discount. But Expedia get it together.

Restaurant manager assured us that the food would be safe for celiac kids. It was far from it and the service staff had no idea about the dangers of a mistake. $60 breakfast was a nightmare. Bed was hard as a rock. Front desk staff was not helping when trying to discuss a night refund and then the manager of the hotel denied my request for a one night refund. They forced me to pay for a night we could no longer stay for. Overall very disappointed because the hotel came highly recommended. I will not be staying here again.

Loved the style, the classic woodworking, the wood walls, and the Christmas decorations. On the other side, the restaurant was understaffed and slow at dinner time on our Sunday night. It didn't bother us much since we were visiting family and weren't in a big hurry, but others might complain. Nikki was very nice when she did find time to wait our table. Lastly, when we arrived in our car for check in, the valet guys didn't greet us and left us hanging. I unloaded our luggage and went in to ask one of the guys about valet. I actually prefer to handle our bags, but I thought the guys would come out to at least valet our car without me having to go in and ask. All in all, it's a very nice hotel and enjoyed our stay. We will likely be back.

We travel to the Rochester/Detroit area frequently as we have several family members that live in that area. This was our first time trying the Royal Park Hotel. We loved it. Service was excellent. It was elegant and charming. Rooms were very spacious and luxurious. The location is ideal. You can walk to several great businesses on Main St. in Rochester. This will be our landing spot when we travel to the area to see family.

Away visiting family and stayed here. Only had a minimal 2 inch snow storm but it took days for them to clean the sidewalks and lots. unacceptable in a snow state even over a holiday. lobby was decorated very nice but the elevators were super slow. wanted to take the steps one time but found out on our side of the hotel the steps dont open up to floor 2! however taking the steps down to the parking lot where we parked was much easier with that stair well. One elevator was not working upon checkin so that was really a pain. front desk staff were very nice. the room was definitely a 5 star room when new but it showing signs of aging. nothing that wouldnt let me stay there again. super amount of lighting and switches in the bathroom. but if you are short it's impossible to adjust the shower head. its made for a basketball player. nice bench in the shower. bed is standard hotel bed. nothing like our wink bed at home but no hotel can afford a wink bed lol. the small downtown is very close and all the shops were very lit up. definitely venture into town! theres real cable tv, not just a handful of channels so that was a nice surprise. as was a stocking full of goodies on christmas day. very nice! thought the pricing was a bit high but it's a holiday and not many other hotels close.

I was there during the ‘22 storm. The staff were very helpful. They showed concern for an older guest alone hoping to meet up with family after the storm subsided. All amenities were wonderful. I would return for sure.

Our family was in town for a memorial party, and it was a comfort to all be together in such beautiful and genteel surroundings. Everyone we came across in this hotel was more than kind, helpful and professional! We had some great meals at the hotel, and we were able to walk easily to downtown and the great shops.

Great location, nice property. We were in town for a family gathering, and the hotel was a convenient spot for sleeping. The restaurant staff were warm and welcoming - we had lunch there one day and drinks at least one night. We arrived at 12pm for checking in, and were told it would be $30 to check in early. Have never heard of such of a thing, but we wanted to get to the room, so paid it. Seems ridiculous and definitely not industry standard. The room was nice, but AC was set at 74. It took hours, and never got cooler than 70-71, even after calling for engineer to fix. Was comfortable, but would have preferred it to be colder - closer to the thermostat setting we selected. The room was clean-ish. The counter 'bar' could have used another spray and wipe. It's nice they give 2 bottles of water each day, and there's a fridge for use as well. Overall, a good location and we'd stay again. I do hope they'll reconsider their 'early check in' fees. If rooms are clean and available, guests should be allowed to check in early.
