Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Detroit Chesterfield

There was a hockey group staying the same time we did! The kids were slamming doors, screaming, running down the hallways, the parents were not present and these kids were young. They were jumping on the beds, banging on the walls, we absolutely got zero sleep. When we checked out all the lady said was “ I am sorry they were placed on every floor” well in my eyes that is not ok, the amount of noise the kids made was to the point my purse that was hanging in the closet was rattling.

A very nice hotel!! Unfortunately we were in the area for a family funeral 😢😢 But our stay was good. Only negative thing to say is the water in the pool was on the cool side. So we didn’t swim, but did watch a great Christmas movie🎄🎄‼️‼️

I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and always fairfields. However, this was by far the absolute worst stay. We were place on the first floor. Fine especially for my husband. However, the amount of noise was absurd. There was a party across the room from us which is fine but it lasted way until 2 in the morning. Making it tough when you have to be up at 6. I get it things happen. The next few days considering we were there from Tuesday night until Saturday morning was even louder. All night long doors slamming, girls/kids running up and down the hallways all hours of the night. The room next door, I don't even know what was going on there, screaming, TV blaring all night. Above us, I swear they were moving furniture. Jumping and running all night long. I am really not one to complain but I can say this was anything but a relaxing business trip.
