SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lansing

The front desk woman was very kind and helpful. I was originally told they had no more double rooms available, and we would have to take a single king room or two single king rooms. With 3 kids, 2 rooms was our choice, but it would mean me being stuck with all the kids. Fortunately, we got to the first room and it ended up being a double room! Unfortunately though, it smelled like someone had smoked an entire pack of cigarettes in the room. With it being a lucky double room, we didnt want to request a change, but did let the front desk know. The pool was very cold, which was disappointing since that was why we booked the hotel in the first place. Even the kids complained. The breakfast was nice to have, however when me and my son were there to eat all the hot food was empty. As we were leaving, we did see a worker presumably filling it all back up, though. Beds were comfy and our stay was fine, but we would probably choose a different hotel next time.

Great quality stay. Perfect for children as we were down for a cheer competition! Would highly recommend.

Great stay. Previous reviews mentioned construction but if we didn’t see signs outdoors we never would have known. Staff very friendly. Breakfast worker did very well with young kids getting breakfast alone. She went above and beyond helping them stay safe with Hot waffle iron to keep them safe & still enjoy their breakfast.
