Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Houghton, MI

Short-staffed at the front desk. Had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to show up when we checked in. Perk - they had lemonade and cookies to keep us occupied. Had some noisy families that let their kids play tag in the halls and we were right next to the stairs, so there was a lot of running/stomping up and down. When I tried to call the front desk to complain after "quiet time," I found our line did not go thru. I walked down to make complain in person. I have to say, once a complaint was made, the desk clerk did take things into their own hands and the noisey antics ceased almost immediately. (THANK YOU!!) Overall, a nice stay although I think the price was high for what we paid for.

Stay was great My grandchildren loved the pool area

Staff was great- very friendly and accommodating. The pool area was fantastic, breakfast was wonderful. My kids loved the snacks set out at the check-in desk daily. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great family stay. Clean modern rooms with spacious bathrooms. Friendly staff, great breakfast and pool/hot tub/wading pool was clean and relaxing.

Excellent breakfast. Anything you could want. Bed was comfortable. I saw thdm cleaning the banisters which is great. Everyone was extremely friendly. Pooland hot tub area was clean and neat. Even have a kiddy pool! We will return if we come this way again.

A very nice hotel with great customer service. We traveled with our dog. I let the hotel know ahead of time, as they have limited pet-friendly rooms. Our room was clean and spacious, and a complimentary dog welcome goodie bag was waiting for us. The staff was friendly and the hotel breakfast was well-stocked and actually tended. Great place to stay if you have a pet or family.
