Ramada by Wyndham Hancock Waterfront

A lovely view of the historic Hancock Houghton Lift Bridge, this hotel sits right on the waterfront. The hotel was built around 20 years ago but the upkeep is good and cleanliness is excellent. I am a Hancock graduate and the last time I was home this hotel was brand new and this hotel still holds pride in quality, cleanliness, and overall staff eagerness to make your stay comfortable. The only downside is the lack of an elevator if you happen to be on the second floor with small children and a van full to unpack but the staff offered to help of which I declined. It was my overlook when I booked it because this is honestly the first hotel I have been to that didn’t have an elevator and we go on vacation and stay at hotels every other month for the past 8 years. The pool area looked amazing but we were too busy to use it. The breakfast options were plentiful and the staff had it well stocked.

We stayed for two nights to visit family during the Memorial Day weekend. The hotel was very nice and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. The only thing stopped it from being all 5s was the air conditioner. The fan was really loud.
