Crowne Plaza Boston - Woburn, an IHG Hotel

Good. I was there overnight for a family event.

So as always the staff took care of me like i am family,As with any hotel room there were a couple of little things that could have been better but they impacted our stay not at all.The restaurant here has really good food very fairly priced and the pool is small but warm .All in all a bargain and a vastly underrated hotel!

Convenience of hotel to family

Was disappointed how crowded pool was with children. I figured I would go before 10pm closing. Pool closed 2 hours early for “maintenance”. Really disappointed had no tables for one at attached bar/restaurant. It was suggested I sit at the bar. Bar was 2 deep no seats. Made no effort to accommodate me.

I would like to say that your front desk staff were polite and courteous. Upon arrival one of the beds had several long strands of dark hair in between the sheets. We removed them ourselves deciding it must be from the cleaners. The bathroom had a consistent mild foul odor throughout our stay. Both of these issues we found irritating but not something to make a big deal about. However, the following morning while walking my dog I found a used needle. It was where I had been consistently taking her out to use the bathroom since our arrival. At least six or seven times I had done this. Several times in my slippers. It was not visible because it was dark. However in the morning it was. In fact my dog was standing almost on top of it when I noticed it. This may not be something you have complete control over, but it was completely unacceptable since I also had two children with me and one of them had taken the dog out herself. When I reentered I immediately notified your front desk staff. She apologized and called someone to clean it up. I didn't expect a whole lot, but I certainly expected a response that matched this severity of the situation. Especially since I told her I had been walking my dogs there and she just said I'm sorry. Which is a valid response. But nothing that matched the situation. Do not ask if she could do anything for me. Did not ask if myself, my daughter, or my dog had been poked by it. Nothing. That is appalling.

I had a family emergency and even thought my room was non refundable they still gave me a refund for the night that I had to leave. Great customer service, room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Over all it was a nice stay, our only problem was the ac/heater sounded like it was going to fall off the wall. Plus the courtesy of other people was rude. Coming in at all hours of the night, yelling in hallways and slamming doors. No respect for people sleeping, luckily we didn’t have small children.

Good and nice hotel located close to different places. The bed was super comfortable and I slept like a baby each night. I liked that they collected the trash and cleaned the room every two days. I only used the room for sleep , so I can't comment about other amenities.

I enjoyed my stay at the crowne plaza. The hotel room was big and comfortable. The breakfast was a full breakfast with hot food and a good variety. This was a big bonus as my kids were in a soccer tournament and this made the start of the day much easier than having to find food on the road pregame.

We rented 2 rooms as a staycation for the kids so they could swim. When we went to use the pool, we were told that someone had vomitted in the pool so it was closed for the night but we were assured that the pool would be open in the morning. The next morning we were then told that the pool was closed because something was broken. The kids were very disappointed and this stay was a complete waste of time for us. Also, one of our room smelled like cigarette smoke and we found a rolling paper on the ground.
