The hotel location is great! Food and commute is access is amazing. However, one of the two elevators was out of order for all 4 nights we stayed. This caused long wait times to get to the room. Additionally, housekeeping skipped servicing our room one day and hotel management wasn’t able to service after 6p when we called. They gave us fresh towels but given we were a family, unmade bed and dirty bathrooms actually caused us inconvenience.

We've stayed here previously when visiting Boston and had a good experience, but after this visit, I don't think we'll book here again. The room was clean and reasonably nice (although the air was very loud and hard to set), and the location is great for Brookline. However, the evening front desk staff was really unhelpful. The fold-out sleeper couch in our room did not have sheets, so my husband went down to the front desk to get them. The person working would not give bedding directly to my husband despite his request, so we had to wait for the sheets to be delivered - keeping our child up late. When housekeeping came, all we were given was a single king-size top sheet (for a double bed). We had to go and ask for more bedding and were given a comforter with no cover on it and a grungy, scratchy blanket that looked like something sold by an army surplus store and then never washed. It was honestly shocking how gross that blanket was. While there are certainly worse things that could happen, I expect a certain standard of service at a Marriott - and in general at a nice hotel in a large city with many hotel options. Next time we're in the Boston area we'll avail ourselves of a hotel that can be bothered to care about its customers' experience.

We booked a room for 5. Upon checkin I asked the bedding to be ready. We came back late (with three kids) and had to request bedding again. We were shocked there was only one pull out couch that was twin size. We ended up pushing two armchairs together for one kid. Not clear where five were supposed to go. It should not be sold as a room for 5.

Table in room was dirty when I checked in. Hairdryer did not work; door had obviously been forcefully damaged previously; air conditioning/heat unit very noisy Great location for me as near family

We loved this hotel! The room was extremely comfortable, clean and much larger than we thought it would be. The staff was amazing friendly, helpful, professional and accommodating. We felt safe and taken care of with our two kiddos. When we come back to Boston we'll definitely be back!

The original room I stayed in was okay but the following nights i joined my friends in a junior suite. Tjunior suite stayed was not overally clean, curtains had spots and the couch had a large stain on it. The toliet did not work from the moment of checked in. We had to go down to the lobby and use the toliets located their. We spent a lot of time waiting for someone from the hotelnto come fix it instead of goong out on the city as planned. Only one elevator was working and at time it was over loaded that you had to wait 15-20 minutes to get on.
