Great hotel, only problem was a competition of high schools. The property had over 3,000 kids with very little supervision or control, so extremely loud, kids talking and running in the halls. Taking elevators a challenge just to get out. Hotel management needs to do a better job at controlling this or at least have guests not part of this in a separate floor. Will appreciate a Big Warning about such activities so we can avoid booking in a date like that.

There was a convention of 1500 high school students at the hotel. Asked to be put on a floor without them request was not done spent the 1st night with banging doors, kids running up and down the hallway till 4:00 am. Called security. They would be quiet for 20 minutes or so. Next morning was switched to a different floor and very quiet. Why couldn’t they have given us that room in the 1st place. I feel when we book with Travelocity the Marriott hotel chain doesn’t want to be as accommodating even though we are rewards members.

Wonderful stay here! They let us check in hours early, which was a life saver with 2 small children. Such a great location!

We stayed here with our teenage kids for a few days. The staff here is amazing. The service here does not compare to any service I have experienced on the west coast while traveling. The housekeeping staff was always so friendly and courteous every morning I would see them, always offering anything that we may need. Valet was always there to receive us and very prompt to retrieving our car when we needed it. I loved that their business center was open 24 hours. That came in handy one night. This hotel is also linked to two different shopping malls and offers a Starbucks and Yard House inside. The proximity to the shops and restaurants was excellent.

Boston is such a great city and staying here is so convenient to everything we want to do! My family comes every year for a Red Sox game and we always stay here. Walking distance to Fenway, great shopping and excellent food!

My family and I have never been to this property but have stayed at several places around the vicinity. We agreed that this hotel would be an option to stay at in the future until we had an awful experience with one of the bell hop employee who mistreated us. I made it known to her that as hotel guests, we should not have been treated that way. I also complimented Pat who was the working at the time of this incident. She needed to know that Pat went above and beyond and he is an example of great customer service. Julia reassured me that she will speak to the other employee (I pointed him out to her) and will be sure to let upper management know.

Our stay at the Copley Marriot was just ok. Some things we liked - covered entry and valet, indoor pool (hard to find in Boston), and connected to the mall. Convenient location. Curiously the hotel does not have room service. There’s a sports pub at the mall level, and they deliver to the room but they just dropped off paper bags with plastic food containers. There was no table in the room so with our child this made it difficult. I think it’s a bit tired, reminds me of an airport hotel. I think the 8.6 rating or overrated.
