The hotel was beautifully appointed and in excellent condition for an older hotel. Staff was very helpful and many nice little touches like lip balm and home made cookies. The beds were extremely comfortable. The only downside is that the walls are not soundproof and if you get a family with noisy children you can hear their entire conversation without trying. You are probably better off on the second floor so you don't have noise from all sides. We didn't get much sleep due to the noise level. Other than this one issue we really enjoyed the hotel very much and would recommend it. It has a luxurious feel.
