I booked this hotel through Expedia and they refused to check me in. They told me that I have to pay them all over because I paid Expedia not them. I was kept for more than one hour at the lobby with my child until I called the police, around 1am. It took them a few seconds to check me in, after the police came. In the morning, they told us that we can’t have breakfast and the booking said that breakfast was available. The whole experience was frustrating, I woke up with a headache and checked out as fast as we could.

The staff was great. In particular, Bianca at the reception desk was exceptionally welcoming and kind. She made sure that our family could have adjoining rooms. The rooms were attractive and the fitness room is huge.

Not a good experience here. Took 11 minutes from lobby to our floor due to 1 elevator not working. Then… got to room and in bathroom was ripped open soap wrapper without soap. Where was the soap? It was used, in the soap dish with soap scum. Then look to my left and there was a used face towel! Yuck! And after this wonderful experience the air conditioner all night sounded like it was a jackhammer! And as an added bonus the immediate area at night is enmeshed in total darkness making you feel uncomfortable for safety. Even though we have close family in town and travel here unfortunately this hotel Will not be on our list to return to.

From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, this was an outstanding stay! The room was comfortable, (the beds were REALLY comfortable!), it was convenient for visiting my family, the staff was friendly and available, and there was even a gym and a swimming pool. This will be the ONLY place I will stay when visiting Bethesda from now on!

I was greeted by the night staff with the words ‘credit card’ - no hello. The next day when I asked for the room to be freshened up, I was told ‘that’s not how it works’ and that I had to ask the previous day. They refused to bring me fresh towels or empty the trash (we had a baby so extra diapers in the small trash can). They were out of several amenities like toothbrushes. Some of the worst hospitality I have experienced.
