This is the second time I have stayed there with pets and family. Friendly upbeat staff they clearly enjoy working there. Clean and comfortable in a safe neighborhood. Love all of the accoutrements. We will be back!

The hotel itself is great but the food service is terrible. The online room service does not work due to security problems according to the hotel. Also, the complimentary breakfast is a joke since it is only till 9 am. For those of us who are on vacation with 3 kids, how can we manage to be up and ready for the free breakfast from 6-9? So, the hotel expect us to rush around on our holiday to make it to the complimentary breakfast? I absolutely do not recommend this place for families who are on vacation. Perhaps if you are on a business trip and can manage to be out and ready before 9, then by all means yes, stay at this hotel.

We chose this hotel for our trip to D.C. we specifically chose a hotel out of the city because our kids wanted to swim desperately and we couldn’t find any reasonably priced hotels in the city that had an indoor pool. We were really upset to find out that the pool at this location was closed for maintenance for not just an afternoon or a day, but for an entire week—our entire stay. We never actually saw anyone working on it which made it even more annoying. It was really disappointing!!!!! We also chose this location due to its proximity to D.C. it’s like 17 miles outside. So like 20 minutes in normal places. If you’ve never been to D.C. and witnessed the amount of crawling traffic everywhere you go you may be in for a surprise. 17 miles turned into 45 minutes to an hour each way, each time we went in. Didn’t matter what time we went. All day crawl. If that is a problem for you (small children) I would highly recommend staying closer to DC. We will stay inside DC next time. Without the pool, there is nothing to do at this hotel location. It’s next door to a shopping plaza, but it’s like groceries and a few fast food restaurants. Downtown silver springs was about a 15-20 minute drive and there is more to do there.
The hotel itself is updated, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was very diverse and good. The room itself was ok until a loud family upstairs came. Not very good sound proofing. Constant stomping. Very clean and nice shower.

The hotel was really clean. The lobby was beautiful and well decorated for the holiday season. The rooms were nice, clean and modern. TV had a lot of options to watch, using the Wi-Fi was easy, plenty of towels in the bathroom. The check out time was reasonable. My dislikes- the breakfast was not that great, some of the staff preferred to FaceTime their friends instead of helping the guest, the water pressure in shower was low, and the neighborhood is not the best. Some guy approached me in the parking lot trying to sell me a used baby stroller. That was strange. But other than that, good hotel.

This is not a usual "hotel." It was more expensive than what I was looking for, but it looked nice and was close to my destination, so I chose it, thinking I would treat myself. I was very surprised to find that it was not actually a regular hotel. It appeared to be a facility where the government houses people. It was scary at night, and someone was at the counter complaining that her baby couldn't sleep because the room near hers was so noisy. I believe she also mentioned someone vomiting in the hallway. The staff could barely speak English, and it was very difficult to understand or even hear the woman who checked us in. There was no place to park when we returned late in the evening, and there were undesirables hanging around the parking lot. The room itself was nice, but the overall atmosphere of the hotel was very weird and I got the feeling that we were one of the few paying guests at this hotel. They also added an additional $25 to the bill that I had to question. I was told it would be returned to me after I left, but I think that should have been explained beforehand. (This reminds me -- I will have to go back to check that it has indeed been returned to me.) The pool was smaller than it appears in the photos, and the area around the pool is VERY slick. I fell and hurt my knee getting out of the pool. I would not recommend this hotel. It could be a nice place, but who wants to feel frightened when they're on a holiday?

I reserved 4 rooms for family in town for UMGC graduation. The beds were comfortable, each room had a kitchenette w/ dishes, utensils, a fridge & microwave.
There were many breakfast choices which were frequently refreshed during service.
The front desk gave a great restaurant recommendation (All Set in SilverSpring) for our celebration dinner. The indoor pool & gym were nice & we could walk to a grocery store across the street.
Very happy with our stay.

Very spacious room, very good equipped.
Hotel was clean.
The swimming pool is small and was full of children.
We would appreciate more choise for breakfast, like piece of cheesse or ham, some vegetable
